    Dizzy Dancing after breast lift?

I'm going to be getting a lollipop lift w/ implants in a couple of weeks, so my scar is going to be around the nipple and go vertically down. Unfortunately, I'm not a candidate for a Benelli/doughnut lift. I know the scar will eventually fade to the point where it's hardly noticeable, but I'm going to want to get back to work 4-5 weeks after my surgery and I've been told the scars will be pinkish for about 6 months after the surgery.

Has anyone else had a BL or does anyone have any advice/suggestions? I'm worried about finding makeup with enough coverage to hide the discoloration, and how often I'll have to touch it up during work between sweating/having clothes rub against the makeup.

I feel the surgery and the trade off of having an incredible shape vs. scars that will fade significantly is worth it, but I'm concerned about how this could affect my dancing.

I had this surgery and my anchor scars are hardly noticeable- however, the where my nipple meets my breast doesn't look the greatest and I may get that tattooed. That being said, I have skin that is very elastic and forgiving, I have no keloids and everyone is different, Just do the best scar after care you can.

I dont habe a BL myself, but i know depending on the dr he can make a very thin line. Look into laser and derma blend for work.

Rosehip oil is great redness. I would alternate that with a good scar cream.

i had this done in december and went back to dancing after 6 weeks, but my scars were not healed fully. I put these see through scar healer things from CVS and derma blend over it. gotta do what you gotta do, i need the money. My scars are still bright red now, it's been 4 months. I still have to reapply derma blend a few times during my shift and don't wanna apply at upscale clubs, maybe forever because of these scars.

this is the 3rd time I had a lift. i started dancing about 2 years after i had my second lift done and the scars were faded already. Unfortunately, I don't have that luxury this time. And on top of that, they are healing very poorly this time. I wish you better luck! and try to plan 2 months off.

Good to know! I want to get back about a month later, but I saved enough to be able to take two months off if need be. I hope your scars end up healing nicely! You never know - I've heard it can take up to a year to be able to see a more "final" version of what your scars will look like fully healed. I can imagine it must be annoying to reapply the Dermablend throughout your shift, but I suppose the tradeoff is worth it.

it took me a little longer than a month, and I still had some open spots. They still look bad now and it's been 4 months, I'm getting a BBL next week and hoping that they are healed when I go back from that surgery. I think the fact that I put that derma blend on and started drinking etc again at work made them heal so slowly. I just don't have a better explanation.

Hope yours go better!! I guess the only advice I can give is to 'heal from the inside' with great nutrition.
