Default Need to change makeup routine due to acne

I'm going back to dancing. When I wasn't dancing a got an implanon and developed acne. I've had it taken out and been put on a birth control pill that's supposed to help with the acne. I need to change my makeup coz I always had perfect skin so only wore light coverage foundation. I've got a sweaty face so thick makeup would make my skin sweat more and looked patchy and fake. I don't know west I should be wearing to cover my acne. I have a lot of dry, dead skin around my blemishes that catches foundation and looks uneven and fake.

Have you gone in a store & asked for a consultation?
Try Sephora, Ulta, or a department store.
In the meantime, you can go on their sites & search for makeup/skincare for your type of skin.

Clinique is a fucking GODSEND! It's the only makeup that doesn't give me acne.

For dancers the problem is sweating in a layer of makeup absorbing it into the skin, then having to cover the blemishes over and over again!

Bare Minerals have a primer called Skin Rev ver Upper, a salicylic acid based lotion (good for gently exfoliating) you put under their mineral powder foundation. There are a few different mineral based foundations which aren't the highest of coverage but get you out of that cycle of covering spots and acquiring more!

However not sure if loose powder foundations are such a good idea now, as I remember reading something about the dangers of inhaling nanoparticles!! In which case, try the liquid versions of the mineral foundations like Bareskin perhaps this will be less irritating for your skin. If you order from qvc at least you can test for 30 days to see if its for you

Also maybe see if you can do the blue light treatments where you live to get rid of the acne
