Default Plan that's working for me

At least it seems to be. Over the past week I finally dipped below 185lbs which I'd been pretty much stuck at since I stopped exercising and eating healthy during fall of last year. I was then pregnant, so I tried to maintain instead of losing weight. Now I'm back to wanting to lose. This morning I was 181.5! I want to have this thread to help keep me motivated to keep at it.

I am eating a Keto diet, but I'm trying not to go too far over the fat limit according to MyFittnessPal. Additionally I have trouble staying below 30 carbs. The nice thing about even imperfect Keto is that it is filling and I'm not left hungry when trying to eat 1200 calories (I give myself about 100 calories of leeway). I personally don't drink much aside from water and unsweetened tea, but for those who are looking for a caffeinated drink to replace your sodas check out Crystal Light caffeinated drink packets. One has the same amount of caffeine as a soda. My hubby loves them and his soda craving is gone. As for tea I highly recommend The Wu-Yi Tea Company's Skinny Tropical Fusion. All of their teas that I've tried are good, but this one especially helps with appetite reduction in my experience. Despite that I like to change my flavors, so I don't drink that one every day, but every morning I do drink some type of green tea.

Supplement wise I take these NOW supplements: Eve, T-Lean, Omega 3-6-9, C 1000, and B-100. When I do strength training I follow it up with a glass of milk mixed with a scoop of Combat Protein Powder. Tastes good enough to make ice cream out of, but way healthier. I definitely felt the difference in my muscles last year when I started using this instead of protein bars.

Now I'm shooting for burning 5000 calories a day while eating around 1200 to try to lose weight fast. It's a lofty goal, so I'm not beating myself up if I don't make it, but it motivates me to push myself. According to FitBit I burned 3000 calories yesterday and didn't go hungry at all. I did take in 1500 in food, but find that within the range of reasonable at the start. Especially since I'm pretty sure the buffet salad was less than I logged it for.

In order to seriously increase my calorie burn I'm doing two things right now. I'm making sure I hit my 10000 step goal and as of yesterday I'm doing short bursts of cardio for 1-3 minutes to get my heart rate up. My goal with this is to at least do short bursts every hour until 8pm when I start settling down for bed. Once the bench is no longer does in the garage I also am going to start Jim Stoppani's Shortcut to Shred, but maybe break each day in two parts to do in the afternoon and evening.

Anyone want to join me on this journey or some similar variation of it?

Also for the experienced cam girls on here do you think it's better to record and sell nude exercise videos or post clothed ones on YouTube to draw more people in?

Here are a few recipes that can be easily modified that I tried recently.

    Keto Mini Pot Pie
Very filling despite their size. You can substitute milk for cream. Next time I make this crust I'm going to try substituting milk for butter. Obviously your can also change your veggies around too. Instead of frozen peas I used mixed veggies and put a little extra in. Additionally I only used once stalk of celery and cooked the celery down a lot.

    Cucumber Sandwich
On the Keto diet most bread is a no-no, but there are great alternatives.

    Keto Potato Salad
All potatoes are out on this diet, but you won't miss them a bit. Cauliflower is an awesome substitute. It can also be made into a matter potatoe substitute.

    Cheese Cake
Yes, cheese cake can be Keto friendly. I used half the amount of Stevie and was very happy with the flavor. Next time I'm going to try doing two more eggs and using low fat cream cheese.

Hope you guys enjoy these. Honestly they are good even if you aren't doing a Keto diet. You might need to modify them a bit though

You should consider throwing away that omega 3-6-9 and getting one thats just Omega 3. Taking Omega 6 or 9 defeats the entire purpose of taking Omega 3. The point is to have a balance of both omega 3 and 6. (omega 9 is created by the body out of omega 3 and 6 so theres no reason take it in a supplement). Omega 6s are in EVERYTHING that is made with oil, and modern diets have 20 times more Omega 6 than omega 3, which is why you want to take omega 3s to counteract the over-consumption of Omega 6s in our diets.
Do your future self a favor and work hard now.

I've wondered why most people just take Omega-3. Thank you so much. I need to place an order in about a week, so I'll get it then.

I'm down 5 lbs and still not going hungry! The days I'm a little hungrier I eat a little more, but usually that's because I exercise a little more whether FitBit recognizes it or not (for example digging holes yesterday).

On that note I hate the new FitBit app. Someone please make a new app that uses the FitBit data that is more customizable in the data you see (I can provide more thoughts on this if anyone is interested). Though I do like the walking challenges where you collect treasure and get to see sites.

Lately I've been fermenting and pickling and eating lots of those.

I made picked beet eggs and love them! I've got cucumbers fermenting in brine (read several reasons why you shouldn't use whey for this). I made homemade cheese and it was delicious, as was the whey it was in though I didn't drink too much since its high in carbs. The kitties liked the whey too. I tried salted and pressed eggplant and it was okay. One of my favorites so far was one I made accidentally because I didn't have rice vinegar. I used sweet rice vinegar, a little sugar, twice as much salt, garlic, chili powder, and black tea to keep everything crunchy. I give it a big thumbs up. That recipe is right here https://www.splendidtable.org/recipe...panese-pickles

One more simple recipe that I want to share. My hubby's ex left several jars of curry paste, but when I try to use them it didn't come out right so I make curry from scratch instead. With the jarred paste I smart it on meat and put it in a skillet with a little oil. I put the lid on and cook it for a good while, flip, repeat, serve. This is the second time I've done it and loved it. Next time I think I'll try using our convection oven to make it to see if I can crisp the seasoned outside.

I hope everyone is doing very well and feeling really great!

I have officially lost 10lbs despite not being good when out with friends. I'm so happy right now. I'm also sore because I rediscovered burpees and did 50 of them. Despite taking breaks and found slow I've been sore for the past two days thanks to those suckers. If you haven't done a burpee lately I challenge you to do 20 even if you have to take breaks between every one. You can do it!

Also a couple more kept ideas for you. Grass jelly is the newest food I've tried. I got it from the Asian grocery store and like eating it with a little milk and Stevie. It's quite good. if you live fried chicken, instead of using crumbs or breading stuff try crushed pork rinds. This also works for baked chicken. Roasted almonds sprinkled over fish or salad is delicious.

I haven't done anything supplement wise because I'm pretty broke right now, but still intend to pick up omega3, T-lean, Greens Freak, and more protein powder.

I hope everyone is happy, healthy, and feeling great.

Thanks for this thread! I will check out those links for inspiration!... so you are stuck in 1200 calories too, right?
Man that 1200 calories limit is the worst and sucks level 3!!!!

My bf "only" had to consume 1700 calories to lose weight. Pfff... And he feels so full all the time that he actually consumes 1500-1600 usualy.

Also, I noticed you said something about caffeinated drinks. I personally do not like powdered drink mixes anymore. I DID recently discover these concentrate cold brew coffee things by Gevalia. Make sure the one you get is just the coffee. I mix that with Cashew milk and it has 30 calories. I was drinking them almost every day until this week and will probably start again in the morning.

I'd do around 1200 calories. Some days I was way more active, so I was way more hungry. It's actually not hard on the keto diet because the fat you eat lasts longer than carbs. That means you stay full longer. We both eat way less on keto too. He used to be able to eat a whole pizza himself. We got a medium pizza recently and he ate it during 3 meals instead lol.

Or a better example would be how much of those keto pot pies fill me. I could eat one pie with a side of veggies and that was the perfect satisfying meal even though they were half the size of a muffin.

I actually don't drink much caffeine. My husband needed a soda alternative sms doesn't like coffee. I might need to pick some of the Gevalia Cold Brew up for my mom and sister though. Also cashew milk is amazing and I'm glad it's becoming easier to find.

As for me and all of this, I'm sadly off it now. I'm pregnant again and my doctor doesn't want me exercising this first trimester. This time it sounds like he thinks I'm high risk, but doesn't want to come out and say it. Also last weekend I think my blood sugar dropped and it gave me blurry vision and rippled peripheral vision until I ate the poptart I was craving. Since that scare I haven't been dieting and have been eating full sugar. Though that isn't to say I don't try to eat healthy and at least avoid wheat.

I did manage to get to 177.5 lbs :-D and felt great. That's 10 lbs less than when I started recording my weight. It's also 12 lbs less than when I decided to diet and exercise seriously.

I might bend my doctor's orders a bit and lightly exercise because I'm starting to get some aches back that go away when I exercise regularly, but for the most part this is sadly in hiatus for me.
