    Duh Rail burn help!

So I'm a baby stripper and my first night was last Saturday and I did pretty well but I am neither super physically active and so my legs feet and especially my knees were screaming at me when I got done. My question is I have larger scabs from rail burn on my knees is it ok to cover them with the round bandaids or is that trashy? I don't want to risk them opening tomorrow and bleeding all over! I have been taking epsom salt baths and those have helped ALOT. Any advice is appreciated!

So sorry to hear - this is killer on your knees. I personally wouldn't put bandaids on them unless you cover your knees with leg warmers or thigh-high boots. I'd consider getting small knee pads (and some tall boots to hide them) for these situations. Good luck!

I'd definitely put bandaids on them...as small as necessary though. Then probably thigh highs over them to help conceal the bandaids. Clubs are DIRTY, you don't want one to break open and get staph or some other type of infection. As far as knee soreness and bruising, what's worked best for me is propping my feet up when I get home and putting ice packs on my knees along with arnica gel.

Ice your knees at the end of the night! Knee pads and thigh high boots like mentioned above) or work knee pads into outfit like sexy football player etc
Stage makeup! The heavy stuff like Ben nye and top with final seal.
Change up your floor work so you are on your knees less (plank, on your back etc)
Also pace yourself, don't wreck your knees early in your shift when you know money is coming later....that depends on your club.

Your knees with get tougher and bruise less.

Always always always cover any cuts/scabs that could potentially break open in the club and make sure you are cleaning them! Bandaids are much better than getting an infection and having any open cuts can put you at risk for things like MRSA. Like the others said, leg warmers or thigh highs are a great option if you want to cover the bandaids.
