Default Eyeliner Tattoo and micro blading...thoughts?

Hey. I'm really tired of putting on eyeliner all the time. My eyes have also become very sensitive to makeup.

What can go wrong with eyeliner tattoos? What can go right? Has anyone gotten one done and regretted it? Reverse, has anyone gotten one done and thought it was the best decision ever?

I did do a lot of research on this. I'll be saving up if you guys think it's a good idea. I'm posting this thread because I trust you ladies. <3

    PROS

Never have to spend an hour a day on makeup again (I'm bad at makeup)
It always looks professional and perfect, because it was applied by a professional.
    Always look good.

    CONS
    Scared of needles

    Downsides of both:

-The tattoo can fade to a different color
-You might still have to apply makeup over the tattoo to get your desired look
-The tattoo might not turn out the way you hoped it would

I've heard more upsides about microblading than permanent eyeliner -- the upside being that it looks great and takes time off your makeup routine. I haven't had either procedure, but I have done a little research.

i had the eyeliner tattoo done years ago, it was so painful! i was supposed to come back in 2 weeks to get it touched up and I didn't. it hurt so freaking bad! i still had to apply makeup over it, but it did make me look a little better without makeup.

If you get eyeliner tattoed on, please go to a reputable tattoo artist who does permanent eyeliner because if go to a salon they are not trained as well as tattoo artists and if they mess it up, the ink can actually travel down your face and make it look like you're crying black ink.

I heard from my sister her permanent eyeliner was a bust..way too light and she had to apply over it anyways. And it cost her hundreds and hurt like satans burning cock.

Yeah one of my relatives got the "permanent" eyeliner tattoo several years ago. She didn't like the result as it was painful and quickly faded. She has to use traditional eyeliner so it was pretty much worthless.

I don't know if they've perfected the technique but it doesn't seem worth it in my opinion.

I did microblading and liked it a lot. The only problem was it faded fast. It's been a little over a year and you can't tell I had anything done. I don't want to spent $300+ every year.

The ink travels down your face months after the actual tattooing process. It has to do with how thin your skin is on your eyelids. It bleeds down after its already under your skin (only if done wrong.)

Oh man just google "eyeliner tattoo ink migration" or "eyeliner tattoo ink bleeding" there are some wild pics.

    Stuff like this:

This page has a ton of pics- also of lips and brows: http://roxannegloria.vpweb.com/Mistakes-Photos.html

I think the difference between eyeliner tattoos and tattoos other places that allows eyeliner tattoos to bleed so easily, is as PP said the thickness of the skin. When you tattoo most of the ink starts in a higher layer of the skin than it eventually settles to- why bad tattoos can look okay in fresh portfolio pics but then look "fuzzy" when they heal. Since the eyelid skin is so damn thin, that settling process is easily fucked up and you can get ink spread if the technician isn't skilled.

Yeah it seems in a lot of areas there's no regulations for training, so a ton of people out there take a 2 day course and start tattooing people's faces... kinda terrifying.

Can you DM me about the areola tatts? I need that. I had a lift and have a faint white scar around mine. There is a guy here is So Fl that does the 3D ones for mastectomy patients but I do not know anyone who has had it done. Thanks

What if there was a day you didn't want eye liner, or wanted it but wanted it on differently?

I have been thinking about this too, for patchy brows and who wouldn't want that purrrfect cat eye every day of the week? Note to self, don't get it done on lower lids. This seems to migrate much more then upper. If I did this it would only be to enchance the lash line...No cat eye. Once a trend goes out of style eek. It is known to fade in a few years as all permanent makeup does.
