    Default BBL/Lipo experiences

so I just had a BBL done and am not sure how I feel about the results.

I know it's way too early to tell, but I am literally bigger in my stomach area than before. Yes (HOPEFULLY!!), this is due to swelling, but I have had lips before and the results were instant. Am very worried that this was an unnecessary procedure/that I'm not getting significant results.

Anyone who has had a BBL, please share experiences!!

ps: I gained weight for this, and want to diet down ASAP. but i feel like that's going to then eliminate that ass I just paid for, since my lipo didn't give me noticeable results. what should I do about this?

How long ago? You're going to have a ton of swelling for a while. Are you getting drainage massages?

It's way too soon to tell. You should start with 10 massages, one every day. By the end of that you should see a major difference. I would continue getting massages even after the initial 10 are over.

i bought 5 massages from where I got my surgery, and 3 closer to my house.

did you have drains? they said I have to keep the drains in until all my massages are done, and I HATE drains. I still have a scar from the drains for my first boob job 10 years ago and I wanna minimize scarring obviously.

Also, I saw myself without the garment for the first time and i have a lot of incisions. my friend only had 2. i have 4 on my lower abs, 2 on my upper, 1 on my belly button, one on my upper back, 2 on my lower back and 2 in my butt crease.

He's top 4 in the country and has a great track record but I really hoped I would get more dramatic results, especially in the waist.

i just saw another thread on the doctor i used (dr. fisher) and you commented that he usually doesn't lipo right under the boobs. I swear that's the only area I see visible results. I had lipo twice before and even with swelling I was so much smaller right away...

Am also really concerned my booty will get a lot smaller.

Fisher did my last boob job. It was really good (except he put one of the sutures too close to the skin and it popped meaning I have a bad scar and need a minor in office revision); it's too soon to tell. DO NOT try to take the drainage things out early. I had my lipo done in Colombia and they were coming to physically drain me with a a large syringe...there was a ton of liquid. If you had Lipo in the past and had good results you will probably bounce back.

Yes, I had two drains and those scars are definetly the worst but then again, if you didn't have drains you would be bleeding all over your sheets and through your faja. That would be a nightmare. I just heard he didn't do much lipo under the boobs but I'm glad he does! That would look terrible. Your booty is gonna get smaller but around 4-6 months, it will "fluff". Damn, that is a lot of incisions. Get a ton of scar cream lol. Feel better !

thanks guys! so i looked at his IG and a girl posted a picture of herself right after surgery, super swollen and wide like me. and then 3 weeks after in another picture her waist looked really small, so that gives me a little hope.

I gained weight to have enough fat to graft, and now I weigh even more than at surgery day which really bothers me. But i'm scared to go low calorie because my body needs to heal. Did you weigh more after surgery? I'm trying to go back to work in 3 weeks so I want to be in great shape. I know it's likely a lot of water weight but I can see it in my arms and face and it's not cute.

Did you really go back to work after 3 weeks? I can't even imagine. Are you happy with your results now?

I went back after 4 weeks. I felt fine but I wish I hadn't because someone smacked my butt so hard that I almost cried.

I went back after about a month. i looked so amazing after 3 weeks and everyone said it will stay that way. My butt definitely went way down after and now I almost wanna save up for round 2, but with another doctor.

But honestly, I thought I looked good before and already had an ass and now I am way in my head and am starting to think I have body dysmorphia. I have major major ass greed. I want to lose weight cause my stomach isn't how I wanted it (i feel like it was smaller around week 3) but am so dead scared to lose my ass in the process that I don't know what to do and it drives me crazy.

Yeah it really hurt in the beginning at work when anybody touched me on my ass or back/stomach and I wonder if going back to work early negatively impacted the results.

People that know me from before say it's a major difference and it looks super good but I don't see it. I wish the hourglass was more exaggerated, cause I really wasn't that boxy to begin with.

Keep wearing your faja. You're going to want to get smaller and smaller ones or tailor the one you have. My waist kept shrinking for about three months so you're nowhere near the finish line yet. Your butt will also fluff around three months. Patience. You don't need a round 2.

I'm still wearing it. I actually find it uncomfortable still to be without it for longer periods of time. For some reason I feel like I looked skinnier a few weeks ago, but my weight has remained exactly the same... my butt is getting smaller and smaller and my waist bigger I'm really depressed about that...

I agree 110% about the faja! When I got my Lipo I wore mine for like 6 months, even though they said 6 weeks and that is why I am able to bounce back after weight gain. I have a friend who got a tummy tuck with Lipo and decided she wanted to go out partying and took her shit off like 6 nights after and had to get a revision. Give it some time and if you are not happy you can go get a redo but gaining fat to move it and have it go down again is probably not a great idea.

I have lost 30 lbs since surgery. I work out. I still have a butt. It may not be as big as it was 30 lbs ago but my waist and everything else has shrunk, too, so it is relative. I do a lot of butt exercises and I am happy with my results.

So I had my fallopian tubes removed, not really the same as lipo but the swelling in my stomach wasn't what I was expecting actually the whole surgery was an interesting experience for me. Now I got scars from my incisions and my belly button will never look the same again. There are products I could use to lessen the scar but right now I am not worried about it.

Healing takes time, and the more invasive the surgery the longer the healing. Your body is basically rebuilding back parts and shifting things around on the inside. Which will take time. Healing takes about 6 weeks then your on this whole healing process up to a year maybe more.

that's what i'm trying to do. I was 'bulking' until now (eating a caloric surplus and focusing on building glute muscles again after surgery) and going to start cutting now to get a lower body fat and smaller waist. i will focus on building my glute muscles more and i' m hopeful that will be enough.

side note: i don't have any pants that fit me well anymore. i ordered from hotmiamystyles and size L shorts are way too small and size 11 jeans as well. am waiting on a fashion nova shipment. I'm literally only wearing yoga pants at the moment.

overall i'm pretty happy most days. i'm transitioning out of the garment to more waist trainers even though the doctor said to wait 6 months for that. but i think i look so much better with the waist trainers. the garments were too tight on my butt and too loose on my waist.

You need to get your garden taken in on the waist. You should not use a waist trainer for at LEAST 3 months as it can give you really bad dents. Get a larger size garment so it fits your ass and take in the waist.

thanks! yeah that's what the dr. said too about the waist trainer. i read somewhere you can use a small garment and then cut slits on the side. i'm scared to ruin it though.

No, that will cause dents as well. You need to buy a larger garment then take it to a seamstress to take the waist in. How many months out are you?

i'm almost 3 months out. my butt area feels totally normal again, but my lower abdomen and lower back still feel swollen if i'm out of the garment for too long and the lower back has really big 'knots' if that makes sense.

I had my lower back lipoed and my saddlebags lipoed. Its over a year out, and my ass is flat as a pancake, still have a slight saddlebag though not as bad as before, only now there are no saddlebags to hold up my butt. It just sags. And I also have some slight cellulite in the thigh area, and a little bit of loose skin in back where the back was lipoed. It's not as bad as I make it seem. What I'm trying to point out is results vary. I heard Coleman in NYC is the pioneer of fat grafting to butt. However, there are a lot of people out to destroy him because supposedly he's botched some ppl. Anyhow, if I ever ever ever get enough money, it would be nice to get some more contouring. I just gotta work with what I have for now though. From what I hear, some ppl need a second go around.

You need to address these knots with your massage lady. She should be able to work them out. It's probably trapped fluid. You won't see your final results for 3-6 months so you're most likely still swollen. Keep wearing your faja. At the very least at night.
