I really like my name and when I think of other names they may sound nice or cute but they dont suit me. Is it too unsafe to use your real name, why or why not?

If your real name sounds like a stripper name, I say sure. A girl at my club used her real name. I don't recommend it though, in case you run into some kooks. You can always say your stage name is just a stage name though.

I know girls who use their real name. If it sounds strippery enough, it means you won't ever mess it up. You can always change your name in the future if you find your persona would work better with a different one. As pp suggested you don't have to SAY it's your real name.
Plus although there are weirdos out there, a stalker doesn't even need to know your name if they want to be a creeper. Unless your first name is super unique so it would pop up easily in search just by that, and you have a bunch of personal info on your personal social media, it's not a huge advantage to know it.
It depends.
Some people don't mind being well known and not having that much privacy like celebrities.
Others have to live double lives and thus guard their privacy like a hawk.
So to use your real name depends on how much privacy you care to have.

I don't think it really matters since customers assume our names are fake anyway. I actually went by my real name for a month or two at a new club and it was kind of weird saying my real name. I'm just so used to being a different person at work I like to have a separate name. I actually recommend having a different name at work so it can help you create that stripper persona that you turn on when you step inside the club.
New stage names can feel awkward at first but it doesn't take long to get used to them.

I plan on moving out of the country in 5 years so I figured that using my real name wouldnt matter. But I dont want to put myself in any more danger.

I used mine when I danced in Vegas. It was initials but that's what everyone called me growing up. Also I don't care whether or not a name sounds "strippery." I actually hate the really stripperish names like Mercedes, Chyna, Bambi's, etc.

If you use your real name, I'd suggest locking down your privacy settings on social media, so customers can't google your name, see your face pop up, etc.
My stripper name isn't strippery at all, it's a very common English name. Sometimes guys ask me if it's real. But I would never feel comfortable using my actual name, and I have a fake "real name" just in case anyone asks, lol.

My name is as real as my tits.![]()
