    Default Spring 2017 Fitness & Health Challenge :)

    Heya girls! I've gone from 162 lbs to 144 lbs over the last year. My ideal weight is 130 lbs. I recently got inspired by a post I saw on Reddit /bodytransformations , of a girl my height and my weight and my general activity level losing 10 lbs in a month. She completely transformed her body and maintained her muscle mass/built a little. It was seriously impressive!! I don't think I could possibly lose 10, and taking two months to shed 10 lbs makes more sense to me. BUT I want to kickstart this "lose the last 10" by taking her extreme measures for a couple weeks. If I feel drained 24/7 and can't function at work, I'll ease off.

    Starting weight as of today: 144 lbs
    Low goal: 134 lbs
    High goal: 130 lbs
    Height: 5'5"
    Measurements: 36B-29-41
    Exercise plan: Crossfit 3x a week, general strength training 2-3x a week with a 10 min stair master warmup and cooldown, 15-30 min of yoga daily for my soreness and stiffness.
    Diet plan: 1,200 calories a day (!!!!) very low for the activity I do, but will only be for a short while. 1,400 on days I do Crossfit. One cheat/refeed day @ 2000 calories. Tons of water and tea. Possibly intermittent fasting til 1 pm. Eating my highest carb food before I workout.

    Ive uploaded my starting pics so I can't cheat this ... Lol. Damn I'm looking fluffy!! Let's keep each other accountable! Post at least once a week please! I feel like if we are all regularly updating it'll be easier to keep ourselves motivated.

    2nd I'm in
    I don't have a pound goal. Just wanting to shed some inches. I gained 30 pounds over the past year that I need to drop. But by mid May I need to get back in my clothes. I plan to achieve this by:
    1 1/2 hours weight training and cardio 3 days a week and swimming an hour 2 days a week. Most importantly I'm cleaning up my diet.

    you are looking good, keep up the good work!!

    I need to join a gym since it is getting sunnier, I changed my diet recently to a gluten free, dairy free vegan diet for my health. I am normally a vegetarian I had chocolate tiny cakes with vegan ice cream last night and I am sure that had some wheat in, oh well. Trying to cut out wheat and have less dairy and more fruit and vegetables in my diet.

    Tonight I will be making celeriac crisps home made, supposed to be less fat and healthy x

    Update: 1 lb down. feeling less bloated and much slimmer already. not feeling too insanely hungry at 1200 cals but also craving stuff. I bought some powdered PB and been pouring that on two eggos as a snack. I also bought Brisk Iced Tea Zero and good God does it ever help with sugar cravings!!!

    Tomorrow I host a house warming party. My plan is to eat only protein all day and bank up calories for the evening. I'm making fat free caramel popcorn, casein protein brownies, cottage cheese dip with whole wheat crackers. I'm sticking to white wine, apparently one of the lowest calorie contents is Yellow tails Riesling with only around 450-500 cals a bottle. I'm going to make spritzers out of it with diet lemonade or sparkling water.

    a great low cal drink is vodka club soda, if you are into vodka. just put tons of lime to mask the vodka taste. I believe the calories would be even lower.
