    Dizzy Getting back into shape after an injury?

    Long story short: Back in February, I tore multiple ligaments and tendons in my ankle while doing acroyoga with a group of friends. Spent a month refusing to acknowledge I was injured, then three weeks on crutches, and now I'm in a boot for six weeks. I've somehow managed to gain about 15 pounds while laid out with this injury!

    I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?
    How long does it take to get back into my previous shape? I wasn't rock solid or anything, but definitely lean and fit. I've developed a muffin top and some thunder thighs being sedentary though. I'm excited to get back to work (as a cam model), but worried about the noticeable weight gain from these past few months.
    Any advice on what to do to get back in shape that isn't going to stress my ankle too much? I used to be a runner, but that's totally out of the question at the moment. Thanks!!!

    You could always work your upper body for the time being, then when you can walk again start off walking and build back up to the running you used to do. Best of luck!
