I drink a lot of water, exercise, don't drink, don't smoke, and don't do any drugs. I think it has to do with genes too. I can pass for 20, even though I'm 10 years older. My grandma is 83 but can pass for being in her 50's. Quite a few people on dad's side of the family look younger than they are.

I'm lucky enough to look about 10 years younger than I am. However I did start noticing obvious signs of ageing about a year ago (Lots of grey hairs, dark under eyes, deeper laughter lines). Here's what I've started on which I think is helpful
Argan oil gently massaged around eyes where lines are emerging
Coconut oil and shea butter (natural/unrefined) all over the body
No heat/ harmful products on hair, let it dry naturally
    Vegan/plant based
Teaspoon of Turmeric every day (wards of alzheimers)
Loads of lentils (as above/brain food)
3 cups per day of Matcha tea

Things I know are good but haven't gotten to yet:
    Lots of water
    Lots of sleep
    20 mins exercise per day
    Weightlifting

Re worrying about protein on a vegan diet, no need - the animals people eat get THEIR protein from plants anyway. Here's a great list of high protein plant foods http://www.onegreenplanet.org/natura...es-of-protein/

I think in general, people who are slightly overweight/plump tend to look a bit younger than we athletic/ stringy folks. Their skin is more filled out, their faces more cherubic. Losing that weight can quickly go south, though, since the skin has accommodated to being fuller. So weight loss can lead to the skin looking even more aged than if they had always been thin.
Not that I'm advocating being overweight but this is absolutely spot on! My dad is 76 and honestly doesn't look past his 50's. He literally has NO lines or wrinkles! He's always been very overweight and even when he lost some he was fortunate not to get saggy skin or lines.
