So realistically speaking, what would make you turn a client into boyfriend material without all the typical "Customer" mindframe?

Well, a good start would be treating me as you would any other woman you're trying to respectfully date rather than looking for Super Secret Stripper Dating Hacks as though that's all that I am and that's all that defines me.

    This ^^

If you're going in to the club with the goal of dating a "stripper" you've fucked it up already. Same as when guys want a "hot girl". Treat her like a human not some machine that if you say the right things sex comes out.

Also OP why do you even want to date a stripper? Outside of work most of us refuse to put on makeup, spend time on hair, wear heels, etc. If she's not getting paid she's not putting in effort. Your gf basically is a bag lady with nails who sleeps all day.

Everybody in your town has probably seen her naked (and maybe even touched most of her naked body if local laws allow) and the second your realize that actually bugs you are you start telling her to quit, she's gonna dump you.

Dating somebody you like who happens to be a stripper sometimes works, but "dating a stripper" never works, except for just crossing that fantasy off your list.

Yeah no, don't do this. Go to a regular nightclub or bar. We are at work and won't appreciate attempts to waste our time & not give us money, and we also don't appreciate when you ARE giving us money but are badgering us for our number.

Also, 'stripper' is not our whole identity. We're not a separate species. Would you go ask a forum how to win over a lawyer or a waitress? No.

The first step is to understand the behavior of wind and air currents and use them to your advantage. The second step is to mask as much of your human odor as possible through scent-killing soaps, cover scents and even attractants or lures. You are going to need a sturdy sack, steel toed boots, a compass, a whole lot of dental floss and recently deceased yak to use as bait. It is very important that you show no fear but at the same time do not appear aggressive. Always remember that if you must flee they will not chase you across rivers or streams and as a last resort you can always climb a tree. Most strippers are not poisonous and will not attack a human being unless provoked or cornered. Vaya con dios amigo.

Oh and because it won't let me edit my other post...

What is it like dating a stripper? 1) We don't look glam outside of work 90% of the time 2) it WILL bother you to some degree that she is naked for strangers & if you start telling us to quit, that will cause issues 3) it can be very emasculating - I don't know what you do for work, but basically you have to make 6 figures to even start touching what good strippers make hourly 4) it can be very frustrating on the same token - it sucks to realize your gf worked one 6 hour night to make what your week's take-home pay was, AND that she probably got to drink & take breaks whenever she wanted while doing it 5) don't think you're going to use her as a trophy or conversation piece; we don't wanna spend a party answering inane questions about our job

I know this is basically a troll thread and I shouldn't have even participated in perpetuating it, but this answer is very serious gold that encompasses what dating a stripper is actually like.

Actually, I think strippers are some of the nicest most independent and hard working people I've personally ever met. I have more respect for them than people in the general service industry all-together because they are not taking a salary, they are working their butts off to provide all of their talent. I'm not one to judge on day life and night life. I respect top earning working hustlers because I too am one we all got skin in this game. thanks for insight, love

I don't judge the profession. Actually, I think it's wonderful what you do here. If I had a bit more guts, I would male strip but then, I don't know how male strippers and female strippers hold relationships. Basically, I am sold on all u guys because you are independent and decided to take your own future by the hands and run with it. Very few people or professions have that freedom. I respect that greatly.

If by hold you mean keep... I told my SO from day one I was not quitting until I was ready and he needed to deal with what I did for work. It helped immensely that we were long time friends already so he knew I wasn't any of the stereotypes.
That doesn't mean he hasn't had bad days where he gets grumpy that I made 4x what he did at work, or gets a little insecure if he lets his thoughts run wild. But overall he doesn't say anything and would rather I do this because I'm a miserable bitch doing anything else for work.

This line of thinking is just astounding to me. Let me ask you this. If I was a man and walked into any community of women (perhaps that belonged to a race, profession, or culture that was not my own) and proceeded to try and "date" one of these fine specimens... Wouldn't that be a little fucked up? For example...

"Good evening ladies. I myself am not a member of your fine urban community... But how would one such as myself go about dating one of you black women?"

"Ohayo! I've been watching anime for a while and I'd really like to date a Japanese girl! What's the way to her heart? Don't tell me sushi, BAKA!!"

"(Walks into a gaming convention and up to a group of girls) Hey, so I've never been a nerd, really video games bore me... But how do I get a hot gamer chick with blue hair. I saw one in a porn once and I think I'd like to try it out. Glasses are so hot."

Yeah you get the point. Dating someone for the novelty of dating that specific type of person, never works romantically. And if there ever were a time where it did, it was due to undoing all sorts of deep seeded flaws in that persons ability to empithize and his emotional maturity as a human being; enough to expand his mind and then come to the realization that, holy shit... the person I'm dating IS a person!!

So let's say you get that far... Which by no means is likely. But let's suspend our disbelief for a moment and say you obtain this stripper girlfriend and she's dating you for non-monetary reasons. (and we ignore the fact that you're broke and want free sex with a stripper so the both of you can stroke YOUR ego and so you can sleep with a hot, unobtainable girl that makes you feel special. Cause you sir... Are special, and her spending her time and energy on you, for free, proves it. But again... ignoring this and how it's blatantly obvious that your intentions are bullshit.) What would dating her be like?

She'll be an entirely different person than your "stripper girlfriend" in looks, personality, and she may not even have an interest in sex at all. She'll have to sleep at some point in the day to keep with her work schedule and she'll probably feel the need to give herself a break from dressing up and putting on makeup while not at work, most of the time. Like someone said earlier, she's more likely to look like a tired bag lady or one of those crazy cat ladies that wears a bath robe all day. The one thing that is likely to stay constant, is her ability to smell bullshit... which you'll likely reek of. If she's not particularly bright, she'll catch on when you start treating her like a sex object or bragging to your friends that you date a stripper, or when you refuse to introduce her to your family.

If you somehow fall for this new person, who clearly is not the fabled "stripper girlfriend" you once imagined her to be; one of three things will happen. 1) She will match with your emotional maturity, personality, and interests; you won't have an issue with her job; and you will live happily ever after with your "crazy cat lady who you thought was a sex idol but is secretly just a lazy chick in a robe that doesn't give a fuck about make up or impressing anyone, including you."

    2) She will smell your bullshit (most likely when you decide you don't want her dancing anymore) and leave OR stick around just long enough to take you for what your worth (which prob isn't a whole lot, maybe a meal or two or free rent). After all, if you consider a stripper to be something that you wish your "new" girlfriend was not... Doesn't that mean you never had respect for her, her profession, or her choices in the first place. Yup, so why not take advantage of the shitty person who considered you to be a sex object only to decide that she... was "better than her life choices" (aka you can decide for her what's best for her wellbeing). You took advantage of her as a stripper so you could reach some sort of mile stone... So why not do the same to you.

    3) For one reason or another, you'll break up and decide that it's ok, because you decided from the get go, that a relationship with a stripper was never a real relationship in the first place. Essentially you set up a relationship where, if it failed for any reason, you would be blameless and would never have to face your own flaws as to why it didn't work out. Was it because you're an emotionally immature person who has stunted his own growth by pursuing relationships that he didn't have to hold any accountability for?? Of course not! It didn't work out cause she was a stripper and strippers are all (insert easy stereotype here) (eye roll).

My advice to you is learn about how women in general are human with varying degrees of interest and experiences, grow to become an emotionally mature and stable person who doesn't seek relationships to fix internal problems, and realize that relationships are work. Strippers are women who get paid to be someone they are not, there is a reason we have stage names. For you to want to date a literal fantasy, is not reality. Go meet a girl in real life when you've filled all those requirements; and if she happens to be a stripper... respect her profession and her choices, try to be mature enough to talk out any insecurities, understand that she is human, and love her because she's (insert real name) not because she's (insert stage name). If that's too much work for you, then admit that what you really want, is to sleep with a stripper without paying for an escort.

I'll bite. I've dated customers. I've been colloquially dubbed "cradle robber" by my coworkers due to my proclivity for dating much younger men. They were all white, in their early 20's with long hair and tattoos. All listened to heavy metal.

Why do so many men have this "date a stripper" fantasy on their bucket list? Stripping is a job. For some of us it is our only income source. Using your logic would it be okay to go to a hospital, looking for a doctor to get with, just because I think it would be cool to have a doctor boyfriend? No, it doesn't work that way. People are at their workplace to work, even strippers. Sure, maybe some of them might be looking for a boyfriend but they're not looking for a man child to support. I dated a customer once and never again. The jealousy was too much and then when he wasn't accusing me of cheating, he was trying to get money from me. He lost his job because he was too busy spying on me at the club to make sure I wasn't cheating. I already have a child to support and have no interest in supporting a grown man. You have no idea how many men I've encountered who tried to date me but then told me that as a condition of dating them, I had to stop stripping because they wouldn't be okay with other men seeing me half naked. How are you going to handle jealousy? You realize that many men haves seen her half naked or fully naked, depending on the club. Also, as someone else mentioned who we are in the club is not the same as who we are outside the club. We have stage names for a reason. Real me is a shy, introvert. My Wendi stage name is a major flirt. We may look like we could grace the covers of a popular adult magazine when at the club. Outside it or on off days without all of the glitz and glam of makeup, false eyelashes, and glitter? You might find plain Jane with dorky coke bottle glasses, no makeup, messy ponytail, baggy t-shirt and jeans, who burps and farts and swears like a sailor just like non-stripper women. The power of makeup, false lashes, and a fake persona is amazing, haha.

Here's a thread for strippers looking to court customers for marriage and love. Maybe one of the strippers that posted in this thread would be interested in a serious relationship.

    I have a few theories:

    (a) Analogous to this: A pudgy little boy goes to Disney Land and he is in awe by how beautiful the women in princess costumes are. He watches them sing and dance in their short dresses and he feels a new kind of excitement. He takes pictures with them and hugs them, smells their perfume, and feels their warm body pressed up against his small pudgy frame. Some of them kiss the boy on the cheek and he blushes. He feels very flattered and special and very excited. He tells his mother, "Momma, when I grow up, I want to marry a Disney Land princess!"

    (b) The stripper fantasy is like the male equivalent of the female 'bad boy' fantasy (or the female fantasy of the rake playboy that she thinks she can domesticate). You expect the stripper to be naughtier and wilder than other girls. She is edgy, maybe even dangerous, and without a doubt, a nymphomaniac. You expect her to seduce you every time you see her - she will dress up in her skimpy stripper outfit, tease you with sensual lap dances - while she reminds you how handsome and wonderful you are, and then, she screws your brains out.

    (c) A guy goes to a strip club and the realities of life are inverted. He does not need to approach an attractive woman, and face the brutal experience of being rejected. Instead, gorgeous woman come up to him begging for the privilege of dancing on his lap. In this environment, it is easy to lose grips with reality. The guy starts thinking, "They really like me. I'm actually effing handsome and interesting! All I have to do is tell one of them that today is her lucky day and I'll have a girlfriend."

    (d) The narcissist and braggart - He knows picking up a dancer while she is working in the strip club is next to impossible, but, he thinks he has the looks, charm, confidence and determination to make it happen. Its a game to him and he wants the trophy. Then, once the mission is accomplished (if it ever happens) he will brag to everyone about how he scored a hot stripper. But, when she becomes a 'normal' woman to him, he will lose interest.

    (e) The cheapo - He cannot afford lap dances, and, he thinks that a stripper girlfriend means free lap dances.

To the OP: Find a girlfriend who is: (1) hot enough to be a stripper, (2) loves to dance, and (3) is into fantasy roleplay. Buy her a stripper pole and some skimpy stripper outfits and stripper platform heels. Also, buy a decent sound system, a nice leather arm chair, and put up colored led strip lights. Download some good tracks. Voila.

Yup that's all I am, a stripper..not a woman/person first, a stripper first! Not someone w my own interests, hobbies, goals, or experiences (unless of course it fits the stripper stereotype of being a damaged nympho who loves to drink an have semi public sex!! ). Guess what, we are all different people who happen to share the same job. Idk what you have cooked up in your head about the benefits of dating a stripper (wait, yes I do) but you will be mightily disappointed.

I don't come home to jump my bfs dick cause stripping has excited me so much..I flop on the couch, kick of my sweaty shoes, and stuff my face while bitching about men and how tired I am, an then change into granny panties and sweats.
I've done business with men who think I'm as silly as I look; by the time they figure out I'm not, I've done got the money and gone -Dolly Parton

my only advice to you sir is that if you somehow ever make it onto a date with a stripper, never tell her that you've "always wanted to date a stripper". because if a dude i actually thought i might be interested in ever said that to me i would find a way to make him never wanna try and date another one again.

For what it's worth, OP, I read your other posts in this thread and am aware that your motivations aren't just novelty-related.
