Default Anyone else experience extremely polarized behavior from customers in the club?

I'm a very attractive woman. I am a top earner at every club I have ever worked at, and I know that my looks help a lot with that. I have found, however, that many men in the club are especially rude to me, and I feel that it is the way that I look. I do not encounter this behavior in "real life", so I can only imagine that it is a phenomenon of the environment I'm working in and the fact that I am willfully interacting with more people than I would if I were out at a regular bar, for example. My experience in the strip club is that men either love me immediately or they seem to absolutely *hate* me even before I say anything to them.

Does anyone else encounter this at work??

Keep in mind that I'm not trying to start a debate about hot people being treated worse than unattractive people, I have no illusions about that, pretty privilege is real (I was an ugly duckling for a long time, so I have first hand experience with both sides) but I do think that attractive women tend to bring out more polarizing behaviors in men, which I know through experience both first and second-hand, how the hotter girls in the club are treated and how attractive women in general are treated by society. Whereas an ugly girl might be straight up ignored, I feel like men either worship me or absolutely hate me just because of the way that I look. I've been noticing this especially more lately as I've been investing more into my appearance and working more, hustling harder, etc.

That's how it has been for me at other clubs, so maybe it's just the customers or the season at this one. I'm making more money than I've ever made, so I'm obviously doing something right ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm top tier in looks at my clubs & probably top 25% of earners, but I've never experienced this or seen it for anyone else. I think we either have the guys fall in love, or else they are just really intimidated and turn into shy little boys (those are the ones I see getting literally pulled to the VIP, tee hee).

Honestly I can't say I've really ever had much issue with truly rude customers at all either. I can only recall a few off the top of my head that were truly just blatantly mean, and even then only one was outright insulting, the others were just trying to neg me with backhanded compliments.

It's probably your club! But who cares if you're making money?

there will always be a percentage of idiots. I learned quick not to entertain those fools. Like get up mid sentence and walk away.

Or like you say it could be the club culture so if a lot of other dancers spend time with them even when they act like jerks then thats how they're conditioned to behave.

Sometime people have self-fulfilling prophecies too. If this occurred too often I check my beliefs.

You're right. I think it's bc I've noticed that more attractive women are hated by certain guys bc they reflect to them the potential of being rejected/ thier percieved failures to get what they want bc they've been rejected by beautiful women their whole lives. I also no longer "sit and chat" unless you've already spent money which most guys in this club/ area feel entitled to and I think they can perceive that.

Now this. I do believe it comes from some being rejected in real life by beautiful women, or a beautiful women that look a certain way. They reject them to soothe their ego.

I.e. Those wallflower guys that reject EVERY girl that approaches them,

When I'm natural guys turn me down gentler....as a blonde they lay it on me lmao. Oh well I guess the polarization is good so you can weed out the losers quicker
I'm also blonde and have recently had a keratin treatment on my naturally curly hair, too! I never got treated this way when I was brunette/ redheaded either. You're right, it definitely makes it easier to spot time wasters. It also, thankfully, makes it easier to make money. I also noticed every blonde "bimbo"-esque stripper has polarizing things said about her (mostly negative ie 'oh she's such a fake bitch' etc) by almost EVERY customer in the club (yet still somehow makes lots of money, often from those very customers).

    Very interesting.

When I has platinum hair I banked but people were ruder to me than they are now that I have very long dirty blonde hair. I am curvy 34-26-34 115lbs and 5'4, if guys like very petite women they won't pick me, no problem, but when I was platinum they would be like I DONT WANT YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE FAT.... SERIOUSLY LOSE WEIGHT. Obviously, that was not true. I think there is something to this thread. Many men are blind to their own mysogyny b/c that's male privilege. They feel it is their right to have access to women's attention and energy. If that perceived "right" is threatened - they throw tantrums like children.
