I worked there when it was Gold Rush and made really, really good money some nights (some of my best nights ever dancing) but they were few and far between. On average, it was not better than other clubs but I think I only ever had one BAD night there. Obviously this was a long time ago but there were a few things that made the money there good that I would say still come into play. For one, the location. It is near the arena and the only strip club in downtown, and across from Space. All of these things kept a constant flow of customers with money to spend. The 2nd is the 24 hour liquor license, which was grandfathered in a long time ago to revitalise the downtown area. I mention this only to point out that no where else in the city do they issue 24 hour liquor licenses and they probably never will.
I am only going on the reviews I have read online and from people I know who have gone there as customers- for one the club is very exclusive/ expensive. Drinks are like 15-30.00 each and sometimes there is cover as well. This means you do not have to worry about broke lookie-loos. However, a lot of the patrons are female or mixed groups, not the single or small groups you would find in a strip club that are easy to sell dances or vips to. Also, when it first opened, a lot of customers were confused by the layout and concept; they could not tell the scantily clad customers from the dancers. I am sure by now they have figured this out by now but I think it is worth mentioning.
Fees are likely to be pretty high, sorry I can't help more with that or any of your other questions but my recommendation to you is try and get hired there and give it a shot one or two nights. You really have nothing to lose. If they try and make you pay stage before your shift; just refuse to your first night if you are worried about it.

I'm really interested in this as well, especially the shifts. I might want to do dayshift there, because I expect it to be not the party crowd who thinks we get paid to be there.
All I can contribute is from friends who have tried to get hired and failed. This was for nightshift, I believe. You have to be approved by 3 different managers. Those were skinny girls, much smaller than me and they were 'not up to their standards'.

I heard that club is mega picky. Make sure you look on point!
Yeah, they're very picky!
I drove 4 hours from Tampa to see if I could work there specifically because I had some girlfriends who got in and I got eyeballed and then rejected. They had me auditioning up there for a while though and they asked me about 5 questions or so, I think that I must have messed up somewhere.
I am a thicker girl, who didn't tan before I applied which I don't think helped. (Stupid me)
I also told the truth at the time and told them that I had never worked in Miami before, once I said that, I was out.
Lesson Learned: LIE.
(I don't have to anymore because I worked at Scarlett's after that and did horribly, but I've still worked in Miami technically)
Tell them that you worked everywhere, be confident and look your best! Wear something flashy and make good eye contact.
Summers suck in Florida though, and it's all over the state from what I've heard.
