Thumbs up ULTRA camathon challenge! If you have hours/ money to recover!

You didn't complete you hours goal, because something came up or you were lazy? Are you in desperate need of money or simply have a money goal and you are afraid you won't reach it in time?

I created this thread for those who want to push themselves from time to time and try an ultra camathon challenge.
I got this idea today, when I realised I can't reach my hours goal, working my regular schedlue, because I was in vacation and I needed to recover the hours+ having family/ friends calling me all the time to go out, visit them, whatever.
In that moment I decided to make myself busy and make sure EVERYONE knows I am not available a few days.

What the heck is an ultra- camathon?

Is something more than a simple camathon (Usually a camathon lasts up to 24 hours...). An ultra camathon is spread over a few days (At least 2 days... the maximum is.. whatever you think you can resist) and the only thing you do is : sleep, eat, shower, work. And all over again. Till you fucking reach that goal! If you reach it faster, kudos to you! You continue it, or stop.
You ditch all your plans for that time period, the only thing you do is work work work work.
No pamper, no relaxing time, no laundry, no workout (unless you really have to), not going out, not making any appointments, you tell everyone that the next 2- 5 days you will be busy and you can't go out/ accept visits.

Now, the number of days you want to do it, is all up to you. In my case, will be 5 days. I already told to my family that I will be extremely busy with my job for the next 5 days, my bf knows my plan as well, he said he is fine with it and won't bother me (in fact, the world doesn't end if I close myself in the house and vanish for 5 days).

What do I do after an ultra- camathon?
Whatever you want..You take a day off. Or 2 days )). You deserve it.
Then you come back to your old habits, or try again.
    All up to you!

    Good luck!

My goal: 70 hours (you can put $$ instead of hours).
    Time frame: 5 days

perfect thread. i could have posted here if this existed a week ago. I started yesterday and did 11 h and a half but today i cannot stay on more than 8 h because i need to dye my hair tonight and do my nails LOL. So tomorrow i will start again. 12h , we can do this. It is harder than you think you know ? Yesterday i was WASTED at the end. But it was because i slept only 5-6 h that night because of some damn mosquitos haha.

Anyway it's a good thread, no matter if i succed this or not !

The hard part is the family/friends/other stuff needing to be solved coming your way. Ugh.

Oh god. I wanna say I'm in but I'm really not sure if I can make it. I was so lazy the last 2 weeks because I suddenly couldn't stand their stupid questions anymore. But it frustrates me so much that I made only $300 since then instead of like nearly $1000 a week how I usually did since I started 2,5 months ago.
I have nothing else to do today and tomorrow anyway so this thread will be the perfect motivation to do it.
But one silly question, what do you girls do during this long hours? I'm on CB and still struggling with getting my room full. Sometimes more sometimes less. And after only a few hours of dancing I'm always so exhausted already... the longest shift I made was 7 hours and that was just because it was a fucking good day with heaps of $$$ so I didn't feel like I'm wasting my time or anything haha.
But yeah, perfect thread. I'm in. I have 2 days now until I have to take a full day off and then it's kind of the 15th already so I have to make the most out of it.

Hello and congratulations for thinking to join this challenge!
First of all, think that you are home and you simply sit in front of the computer, wich is a huge bless (think how some people work in factories or do physical job for 12 hours a day, while we simply rest our asses on chair). Yes, 8-10-12 hours is boring, especially when you are in your "lower" days, struggling to increase.
First of all, if you get bored, you can read this forum, whatever topics you are interested in. Old topics are still valuable, even they have a few years. Keep the winow in a minimized corner and also make sure you see yourself on cam (so you don't have that resting bitch face that weeds all the users away). Is not easy to be watched by a webcam so many hours so you need to make sure you control your face expressions.
Also, you can read something on kindle. You can download the Kindle app for your PC. Again, make sure you have the camming window on your screen, so you see yourself and your room, while you "entertain" yourself during the boring hours. DO NOT try to play games, watch movies or do activites that request your full attention, unless you don't keep the webcam on your face. Reading is usualy ok because you can "pause" whenever and move your eyes to your room anytime.
When you get your eyes tired from reading, you get back to dancing on your favourite music ).
When you get bored from that too, try to convert freeloaders into paying members. Even if you don't make the idiot pay, there will be someone who will probably find the convo interesting and will evenatually join in and even start to pay. When you work long hours, you afford to "take your time" in freechat. OF course, don't have endless convos with freeloaders, but if you are super bored and have nothing better to do, try to conversate here and there in a friendly way. Some of them may even be paying members who will remember you being nice and will come back when they have money.

Repeat, till you complete the shift.

Also, the thing that will keep you in front of webcam so many hours, is that power and the desire that comes from within. If you don't have it, nothing else helps.
I am king of procrastinating so, if I am finaly making it (I already have 10 hours online and I stay 4 more, till I fall asleep, then sleep, wake up, eat, shower and jump back on cam till i fall again the next day), anyone can make it.
If you have your goal and that hunger in mind, you will make it. You will be eager to complete your camathon. You fail today at earnings even you stayed 12-14 hours, but tomorow you come back with same hunger. You insisit and push till you make it. You go to sleep with money in your mind and wake up with them. You don't have headaches, you don't feel sick, you don't have friends, you don't have family, you don't have errands to run those days. You just have money to make.
Is the ambition within you. It's your pride and how you will feel after you complete this and reach your goal. It's the money you will have in your pocket. And is the feeling of accomplishment that will help you try again next time and aim for more and for more, untill working long hours and the money that those bring you will become an addiction and a habit. Untill, even when you watch your favourite show on tv, you will become so uncomfortable at the thought that "this shit is not bringing money, I better jump on cam" and you will go make those money.

Remember, there is an old saying on this forum, that is 100% true: "The only money you are losing, is when you are not showing up".

In my case, this 5 days challenge is giving me a lot of strenght and shows me what I always had in front of my eyes and never seen: Working and being available so long, brings customers out of nowhere, that I would have lost if I gave up after 3-4 slow hours. Yesterday I had 11 hours with $0. And I made nice money in only 2 hours. So, I ended the day with money in my pocket. IT's all what matters. The more days I show up on long hours, the bigger chances I have to be seen by members and step by step, I will make money every single hour.
It is always slow the first days, or even the first weeks. The secret is to be consistent and keep pushing because hard work never remains unrewarded, even in that moment it seems so. If you feel you want to give up, try one more day. And one more. And one more. Till you learn to quit quitting.

I already plan my next big ultra-camathon that will be 1 week long. My goal is to do a 1 month ultra-camathon. Probably from November, when is ugly outside. Right now, 1 week ultra-camathons are doable. Or even 20 days ultra-camathons are doable. Work the soul out of myself 20 days and 10 days of the month I take them off to recharge my batteries without being guilty.

    11 hrs day 1
    13 hrs day 2

Day 3- I plan to stay like yesterday (5 PM - 7 AM).
Edit: I am so pissed. In the last 6 hours I managed to work only 3 because of the stupid internet that decided to die!!! I called the ISP and they were working on a problem so... yeah. Thankfully they send an automated text message when the problem is solved. Fuck I am pissed.
2 more days and I am done.

Cutie you're tough. And so right actually.
But I didn't make it. At all. My motivation in the moment is like nothing. I think it's because I got kind of spoiled in the beginning. I started 2,5 months ago and it was quite easy after the first week. Now, for whatever kind of reason it seems like all of my regulars have let me down and yeah... that takes a lot of my motivation. I really need to get it back. I can't get online tomorrow but the day after I need to get back to where I were. But the less I make the less motivated I am, argh...
Hope you're day ended well, with a lot of $$$ and that the internet didn't die again!

Well I've failed at the camathon but I've succeeded in being online more than I have been lately, keeping up with my social media and filming more content than I usually do so I've not really failed. However, I do need to do a camathon. I need to plan it though. I'm a procrastinator too and if I have other stuff on my mind I will do that....filming content or wasting time on social media for example lol

I'm going to try and work up to 10 hour days until all my bills are paid. This June so far has been the best one yet so all is not lost

I do marathons a lot solo. this would be great to find a group running marathon

I've created a Discord Room just for people who are running a cam-athon.
** Send me a PM for the invite link ** I have it set to never expire.

    https://discord.gg/XJS6A7d

My annuual Austin Trip is coming up and I really want a new vlogging camera for my youtube channel. which would be around $1,500 with kit lens. microphone and SD-cards and probably a new tripod I can walk around with.

I plan to hit 60 to 80 hours. for the next 8 weeks. straight. that means working from 10am til about 1am. some days there will be breaks for a few meetings and appointments but every minute I am home I should be on cam.

I basically need to make $100 to $160 a day. then with the exchange rate I will exceed my goal.

Yes girl you know I am in! I attempt 9 hours every day nowadays (internet permitting) and always hit double my goal without fail. I'm even planning on doing a 24-hour camathon (12AM-12AM) with only a couple of 1 hour food breaks and bathroom breaks when required this Sunday because... well because I just want the dollars lol. It will be my longest running shift ever and I will be so proud of myself if I manage it.

Okay so I have barely been online for months (depression or something) I am planning to move to Mexico in the next 6 months and need to be online as much as possible.

I am in for this challenge, I will not be counting hours or earnings, it gives me anxiety so I will just push through as long as I can. 5-6 days.

I am really grateful to have logged back on here and happen to see this thread today.

Day 4- I managed to work about 12 hours per day so far, but today I work only 10 because I start feeling the exhaustion.

But it's okay, I realised that I didn't lose anything, except procrastinating in front of TV and waste time on pinterest or surfing web.
I even had time to go out a little today and eat something nice, after 4 days in home ))

So, yeah, a 10 hours a day schedule is totaly doable and I will continue that way. I work till friday included and then I have the weekend off!!!

I plan a 24 hr camathon too, but not now. I keep you fingers crossed tho!!!
I had days (only a few) when I was super busy, had to run errands and do whatever shit and I realised I was awake for 24 hrs :|. So, I guess that is super doable, especially that I am just resting my butt cheeks on the bed and sometimes shake it here and there ).

    Alright. My challenge is over.
    Goal : 70 hours
    Completed : 55
    Days worked: 5
    Averaged 11 hours/ day.

In total I have 11 days worked with a 78 hours. I can't wait for the weekend to have 2 days off. I am exhausted.

Thoughts after this? I can tell I could have had at least 65 hours done in this 5 days challenge, if I didn't start to procrastinate today and yesterday. I logged in way later and also, I took way too long breaks (10-15 minutes at 2 hours, that added in 12 hours of work... gives a crazy result).

Hwoever, I am proud and pleased with myself that way.
Next time I will do it even better.
After the weekend off, I will just aim for 10 hours/ day, 5 days per week.
Also, I need to put myself back with the workout. It's been 3 weeks since my last workout and is not ok.

Been putting in 8-12 hour shifts daily and really enjoying the hustle. Keep going, ladies! Go until you make whatever number makes you proud

I'm in for this...there are vanilla people that work so damn hard for the things they have, and I want to cultivate that within myself. Because I have a side vanilla job, I'm going to say that 8hrs a day for this week is a lot for me, and so I'm aiming for 40-60hrs min which is 8-10hrs a day. I can do this!
