one of my best friends is a professional ( non stripper) pole dancer, and has been utterly dominating championships over the last few years, and took contortionist classes ontop of it and dear god, the way she can move, and hold herself and things she can do ive NEVER seen in a club so far - trade off is however that shes major muscle now and not as sleek as she use to be, but by the stars when shes holding her whole body horizontal with just a forearm locking her in place while she contorts is well worth it in my book, I half want to follow her routine JUST to get in better shape !

I've always wanted to learn how to do this. I'm about 5 foot and 90 pounds, so I can just imagine spinning so fast! I love spinning XD

It's funny because the girl that taught my pole class when I was a baby stripper turned out to be a dancer at the club I finally wound up dancing at. I would have never guessed. She was amazing with pole tricks.
I'm taking classes at a studio in Indiana and my instructor was a stripper for 11 years and can do some AMAZING tricks on the pole (as well as amazing floorwork, flips, etc). She said one of the things that helped her make BANK when she danced was that she was able to do some great pole tricks, while most of the other girls just twerked. It set her apart a bit. Of course, her hustle and lapdances were also on point. I'm so thrilled to be able to have her as a mentor!

I would love to find a small studio near me, with an instructor who was/is a stripper. Around me, it is hard to find. Damn ghetto. Lol.
