a guy that "booked" you all night long started to throw ice on the floor while you were performing on-stage?

The gal who dances for me was booked all night long by some high-roller. When it was her turn to go on-stage, he walked along side of her at floor level and then opened up an ice box and began to play with an ice cube in his hands. He turned the cube over in his hands for a few seconds and slid it on stage towards her. Obviously, it had begun to melt and I could see it leaving a trail. I don't think she noticed the first time, but def by the 4-5 time, she had. She made a confused face and then started to dance towards the opposing side of the stage, but there he stood, playing with another ice cube in his hands and then this time, tossed it towards her (underhand).

I was kinda worried she was gonna fall, so I got up quicker than I usually do, looked at him, and then began to tip her. He looked like a normal douche bag, full of ego and machismo, and I knew that it would make him sit down right away- to which it did exactly that.
I've seen the the DJ warn people over his mic for a lot less and the bouncers flock to the stage, just in case. In this instance, none of that happened and I'm sure it was because he drops a lot of money at the club.

I'm interested (as a writer), would you ladies have done/reacted differently in any way? I understand and see the bind she was in...she certainly didn't like it or appreciate it, as she recognized how easily she could have slipped in her heels (I watch at least a few women nearly fall down while trying to walk around people and things in those tall heels), so I can't even imagine what a slippery floor with melting ice cubes could do while you're on stage.

What the hell? I've never even heard of that.

I would have told him to get away from my stage and if he persisted flagged down a bouncer. That's dangerous to have water on the stage!

Wow, reading this just pissed me off so much. That's downright sociopathic.

I think my reaction would depend on how the guy had treated me previously. Was he being an unbearable jerk the rest of the night? If so, I might be unable to hide my outrage and yell at him from onstage or just leave the stage early. If he had been nice before, I might be in total shock and just avoid him, like this girl did.

But yes, that's extremely dangerous, a girl could get seriously injured.

I cannot even imagine why this guy would be putting ice cubes on the stage. What was he hoping to accomplish by presenting a safety hazard like that? Obnoxious drunk, I'm guessing. If the bouncer or anybody else was doing anything to stop him, I'm guessing he was one of those asshats who think that they can do whatever they want because they know the manager and/or spent a lot of $ here. That is a definite safety hazard. She could have slipped and fell down. What an inconsiderate ass that guy was. I would be pissed off because I'd think that he was trying to make me fall.

That's weird. Did he spend money on her and then get pissed that she didn't do X or that she wasn't interested in seeing him outside the club? Custies sometimes do dumb shit when they're drunk/ butthurt. Did he spend on her after the ice cube incident?

He had "booked" her all night long, as what she had said to me. She seemed to stay away from him after this, as it was nearly the end of the night or so. She looked legit confused when he was doing that.

I got some dances from her again tonight. We approached her "chair" and there was a guy getting up from rec'g a lap dance from another woman. He proceeded to get in her face to try and whisper something to her, as I stood there waiting. She kept pushing him away and telling him, "Okay, okay..." and eventually she kinda pushed him out of the way and just shook her head and said "Fuck!"

I can't even begin to fathom what you ladies have to put up with. In the mean time, I asked her permission to put $1 bills in her g-string while she danced for me. I told her I didn't wanna offend her by just assuming it was okay. She was like, "After what you just saw, you're not offending me at all!! I'm here to give you a good time!"

She's awesome. I hate to see her put up with bullsh-t.

If it was discussed before the party and I agreed to it, I would be fine with it. I'd probably even practice dancing around ice cubes before hand to be confident that I could make it work.

If a guy started doing that out of nowhere I'd be very confused and upset. That wasn't part of the initial agreement or payment so it isn't fair to throw that in out of nowhere. Extra things like that should both be agreed to beforehand AND paid extra for.

It was kind of you to tip her when you realized she was uncomfortable.

No, you take the money & throw the Ice back in his face while laughing or drop it down his pants.
