Gia2608, I will definitely go to Nicolette...I drive by that store few times a week lol)... I hope the fact that I never danced before shouldn't be a deal breaker for the managers... I mean I don't know maybe I should tell them I danced before somewhere not to scare them away lol!!

Op- have you gone to any clubs yet?

If you're scared of the physical dancing part, I totally recommend taking dance classes at Pole Dance Miami! I've been going there for 2 months as well as have a pole at home and it has really helped with my confidence and fluidity in my dancing. Not to mention that I've learned some cool tricks too.I know the owner so if you just want to give it a try I can have him drop the price to $10 for one class. I personally get the monthly unlimited packages. Let me know girl!

Gia2608, so sorry to answer just now, haven't been her for a little while... well basically I bought all I need in Nicolette, got some nice lingerie and practicing walking in those shoes at home...but didn't go for an audition yet ( scared as hell!!!!!!)... the person above suggested taking some pole classes to have more confidence with an actual dancing part but not sure if it's necessary, cause you mentioned earlier that one of your friends was literally walking around the pole and making good money lol... walking in those shoes
around the house definitely helps... I mean I know my questions and fears are like extremely stupid probably but if I get hired should I just walk around the pole and make some basic moves with the hips first few days/weeks until I get more comfortable with the whole thing...won't it be totally ridiculous? Lol

I promise it's not at all necessary! It is scary until you start and you do your first dance and realize, wow this is not so hard! There is no industry with a steeper learning curve. Either you'll love it or hate it. The best way to overcome your fear is to dive in. All you have to do is sway to the music on stage and pose. Good luck!

You are probably rightI have heard that from so many people regarding the dancing part, especially in the upscale clubs not being a very significant part. I guess it's just a little hard for me to overcome my fear and dive in
but I have to do it regardless...
Thank you so much ladies for all your support!!
and hope everyone is ok after Irma hurricane!!!

How did you make out Chica? And everyone else! I evacuated and just got home today, my power was off for an entire week! My fridge was gross because I left a roll of shitty ground beef that I use for my dog in the freezer, and I lost a few branches but my house had no damage and everyone was safe. A lot of my neighbors trees lost significant amount of branches and limbs. Also, I somehow managed to lose about 5 lbs or so, likely from all of the physical effort of traveling around; cleaning up my aunt and a friend's house after the storm passed and not drinking nearly as much as I normally do; so all in all everything is pretty good on my end. If anyone needs anything please let me know!

Gia2608, I am glad to hear that you are doing fine and that you are safe and I guess loosing 5 lbs is always a good thing. Me and my family decided not to evacuate because the building is quite solid where I live and it survived other hurricanes too. Quite a few people satyed
in my building. We lost power for 2
days and that's it.
to be honest I was expecting it to be much worse. Everyone was safe. The only thing is I had to throw away some food out of the freezer. There was generator in the lobby and I was able to boil water, charge the phone etc. so it wasn't that bad.... I feel so bad for Key West... it will take lots of time for them to recover...

I might be finally going for an audition in a few clubs ( kind of medium level cause I don’t want to be too scared of a very upscale club). I am thinking about Bella’s Cabaret, Pure Platinum, Solid Gold, the Edge and Maybe Gold Rush. What would you ladies suggest? Thank you!

bellas is not in the category of the other clubs you named at all. and nobody, i am not exaggerating, speaks english in there. the other ones i consider high end. i consider bellas lower end. if you're not comfortable being licked and grabbed, don't go there.

Ohhhhh Crystalize I see(((( so all the clubs I mentioned are high end class except Bella’s? Yup, looks like Bella’s are out.
What clubs would you suggest that are kind of lower end/ medium level to start so that I can get comfortable with the whole thing? I know this threat was created a year ago but within a year lots of things could have changed. Thank you!

Is it more of a medium level club or high end?

It's high end. It's owned by E11even.

Is where Wonderland used to be, right? I saw a picture online of it.

It is still Wonderland, just renamed to remove themselves from the scandal of the 2014 raid and in an effort to "class it up". From my understanding, it is a new name and nothing else. I auditioned there and left after not even an hour had passed. You can PM me for details but long story short, I don't recommend. It's also located in Little Haiti which is one of, if not the, most dangerous part Miami. The clientele reflects this.
