Default How do you motivate yourself?

So many times in the morning when I get the work, I'm having a hard time motivating especially if the first customers tell you know.So how do you get all "existed" and up for working?

    Music...my faves/most inspirational

    Coffee...

Look at myself in the mirror lmao...and repeatedly tell myself positive affirmations....

Momentum is good too I have conversations with bouncers or house moms or like even the chef from the restaurant to get social momentum going ...

Sometimes I watch like comedians tell jokes in YouTube or other funny shit cuz I found when I genuinely giggle and smile before work it helps me be in a nice welcoming attitude ....I sometimes have attitude problems cuz I'm jaded as Fuck lol...so I gotta get a lil happy and goofy to get my personal momentum going

Motivation is pretty internal imo. But to get that internal motivation I listen to music, workout, do something physical because once you are in motion to paraphrase Sir Issac Newton, you tend to stay in motion.

I'm not sure this discussion was inteded for Customer Conversation, but since it was posted here I will chime in.

This does not happen overnight, but self-motivation is a very powerful thing. Negative thoughts prevent you from accomplishing what you want to do. Removing negative thoughts and replacing them with positive thoughts help self-motivate a person to accomplish their goals.

Over the past 6 months or so, I have benefited greatly through the power of self-motivation. I've been hitting the gym on a regular basis. I've changed my diet to a healthy one (I hardly ever eat junk food anymore). I've also changed my wardrobe so that I give off the impression of being a more sophisticated individual. This has all led to positive results.

It all starts with the process of self-evaluation. Are you happy with where you are? If no, what do you need to change? What action are you going to take to implement that change? Coming up with a plan and sticking to it yields great results. In the end, you are the best person to motivate you. Don't let other people bring down your level of motivation.
