Thumbs up Do people really dress like this to festivals?

-Disclaimer- I have never been to a festival in the USA so I'm picturing a typical UK festival of constant rain + mud + wellies

Just got an email from Yandy with a few suggestions for "festival style" that had me nearly falling off my chair.

Do people actually wear high cut, metallic silver, winged leotards and stripper shoes to festivals???!

Oh if I could only get away with some of these outfits outside of a strip club (and even then...)

Yup people dress like that at all the insomniac events in so cal like beyond wonderland, nocturnal, and escape and also EDC in Las Vegas

When i go to electronic festivals i always go in a t shirt and leggings and beat up comfy shoes And i don't wear my hair down. The reason for this is i do not want other people's booty sweat on my bare skin and in my hair. LOL at least when you are half naked at work you aren't having a million other people's sweat mixing with yours.

Also I've seen girls in stripper shoes and while I get they are comfortable i still wouldn't wanna be in a huge megacrowd wearing them.

I dunno i guess I'm a bore. I go for the music but i can see when you're 18 years old you wanna go all out and get crazy but LOL i do enough of that at work

short end of it: yup, depends on the festival though, wasteland weekend, burning ma, raves, and other club like festivals pride etc etc etc yeah you would, something like san diego comicon where it basically goes beyond a con and becomes a week long festival you'll see cosplay costumes that show way more

Shit, I'd be afraid of being gropped, dressed like that!
Years ago, I wore a mini & high boots to a concert, I got backstage for a bit, the roadie said they appreciate girls dressing like that.
Luckily, I was ok walking alone too my car after.
