It's hard to say, based on your post, toes should not hang over.
I've measured the length of my foot, like 9".
I take a 8 or 8.5 in regular shoes.
Pleaser I wear a 9. Some sites have a size chart so that's how I decided my size

I wear 7.5 or 8 depending on the shoe brand, pleaser 8s fit for me. I think if they made half sizes I would be a 7.5 but in shoes it's fine, just a little space at the back as you said. In boots I wear 8s with thick athletic socks and they fit perfect.
Toes should not hang off the front. "Claw toe" looks awful.

Why wear socks tho, that would kill my feet

You're gonna end up tripping and breaking ur ankle mama
Any shoe ur going to dance in (doesn't matter what kind of dance, I'm talking movement) stripper shoes, any dance shoes should be a size SMALLER , u will have more control and not break ur legs

Al half size to a full size smaller, that is the best dancing fit. You would rather a few new calluses on your feet than broken ankles I promise you. That's why ballerinas feet always bleeding.

A "snug fit" is what you are looking for, you want them to actually fit just perfect or a touch smaller. You need to be able to run, like when I try on new heels I RUN in them lmao
That's how you know you are secure![]()
I'm a size 8 in normal shoes, but a 9 in pleasers. They fit me perfectly.

I could give you a million references lol....please buy right fitting dance shoes at all costs lol...do not hurt yourself
ANDDDDD USE A BLOW DRYER TO MELT THE PLASTIC PART OF THE PLEASERS AND FORM IT TO YOUR FEET SO YOU DONT CUT YOUR TOES ON THE PLASTIC (do this the first 3-4 times you wear them and eventually it will stay in that form)

buy stripper boots instead. Ones that don't show heel or toe, or only toe. I have a few pair of pleaser boots that are one size too big but it doesn't matter. They are still comfortable, no accidents or feeling of having one, and the support for my ankles is great! The boots that show heel and toe will still look too big, so only toe showing or nothing at all is key!
