Ok so I'm a baby stripper and have only worked like 3 shifts. First at some shitty dive then at a place a little more upscale. It's a mixed club but predominantly white. I'm black.
Well I just came into work today and as soon as I got in, the manager came and told me that "my services are no longer needed". Wtf. I don't understand what I did wrong and he wouldn't give me an answer.
They seem really strict at this club so maybe it's because I broke too many rules? We can only give air dances, no touching. The floorman came to me like twice to correct me over the span I've been working here. (2 days lol) once when I was sitting on a guys lap and once when I let a guy touch my ass while I was dancing.
They also won't let you drive your own car home if you blow over .05 on the breathalyzer they give you at the end of the night. And I got kinda drunk on my first night and didn't know what the rules were and had to call my friend to pick me up. But it was my 21st birthday that night and everyone knew so I don't think it should have been a big deal that I was drinking... I drank the next night too lol. But I blew under a .08 and they still said I had to find a ride. i don't get belligerently drunk either or sloppy so I'm not sure what the big deal is.
Maybe it's because I was short on my tip outs on my second day? I made over 500 on my first night but the second night I went home in the negatives. And ended up being like 6$ short on my tip outs. But the house mom said it was fine and that I could pay it next time. It was dead AF in there and all the girls were commenting about it. Do you think these are the reasons I got fired? I don't feel like what I did was THAT big of a deal tho..
ive never danced before so it's gonna take me a little bit to get comfortable and figure out how everything works. I would have thought they could be a little more understanding. Maybe they are just extra harsh since I'm a black girl?
Im just crying right now because I have sooo much shit going on in my life right now and really needed this job. That's why I chose stripping and this place in particular. It's the only club in Atlanta that you don't need a liscense for and can work under 21. I'm broke as shit rn and can't afford the 200-300$ fees for a permit.
