I know many people aren't fans of the Red Cross but you can donate $10 pretty easily by texting Harvey to 90999.
Miley Cyrus donated 200k, Chris brown - 100k, Kevin Hart and DJ Khaled 25k, and Sandra Bullock gave 1mil! Crazyyyy.

Not meant to be anti- Red Cross,,but my donations go to,the Salvation Army, as they provide excellent , local support typically. And their ratio of donations vs "corporate" expenses is much better,
Did you guys hear about Hurricane Irma?

A real family man.

Btw. I don't get these celebrities who are worth $$$million, donating a measly 25k. Fkn cheapskates...what a damn shame.
right.. and people are praising them? annoying.
also everyone is acting crazy here, trying to buy a surplus of gas.. seems like the only reason gas stations are running out is because people are freaking out for no other reason than because they were told to. like for real people are fighting at gas stations over pumps and there are huge lines.. i don't even know what to believe anymore. last week at HEB aisles were empty and everyone was in panic mode.. for nothing.

Oh some one posted earlier about the pets and alligators n shit.
First I'd freak out and have a panic attack

I am back now, my area ok now, I saw some damage coming back from the airport, I am trying to find a place where I can go help out, there was a animal charity online looking for stuff so I texted the number hoping to hear back.

This bitch Irma has me worried as fuck. :-/

Got hit by Harvey pretty bad. Record rainfall. My house was flooded. Currently living in a hotel being paid for by FEMA. Now I have to figure out where I will go after this hotel voucher expires. Time to get the fuck outta Texas. They say this is the new normal. Yeah, after 2 floods, I'm fucking done. I got flooded last year too. SE Texas is just not habitable anymore folks. Those living in SE Texas, don't rebuild, just get the fuck out. With climate change, this is only going to keep happening. People living on the coasts are all eventually going to have to move inland.
Mother Nature is furious right now.
Now FEMA is going to go broke after Irma hits.
I'm sad because I love this region. It's where my heart is. But I can't go through this shit a third time.

I'm sorry. ^ This is what they have been calling CLimate change refugees...its happening.

Real talk. It's running me out! I frickin LOVED living on the beach with the doors open most of the year, great money but cheap overhead. I got caught in the "100 yr flood of '15" then the "100 yr hurricane of '16". I was dumbfounded when I saw the forecast! Can't keep hoping it won't hit us this time. That's too nerve wracking. It's not normal to get 20"+ of rain. And we never got socked by hurricanes because of the natural protection of the bay. All that's stripped away with this crazy hot Summer/water we have now. The whole Southeast is fair game now and of course they're too damn cheap to replace the dunes that buy us time and hold the ocean back.
