    Default Long Island

Hey everyone! This is my first time posting so please bump if it in the wrong spot.
I am interested in dancing part time for extra income. I get along with everyone and have a lot of dance training. I'm in my 30s and curves but people think I'm 22 so I guess that's good in this industry. I want to dance on Long Island or nearby but I don't know which places to look into and which are going to treat a newby well. Advise please 😊

Gossip got remodeled couple years ago I loved working there
It is mostly busy on weekends tho
Upscale/Manhattan style bring a long gown to audition, I think you can wear diff outfits when they have diffeeent parties, check out their instagram they have a bunch of different parties
They have floor dances, semi-private room dances, and champagne rooms
Cool cigar lounge on lower floor as well

Some custies are a Long Island brats so lol but I averaged good there

Thank you! I didn't see an employment page so I just emailed them. I also saw Billy Deans and it looked interesting. I'll keep looking around
Also, how much should be expecting to make on an average night?

Hard to tell how much you will make babe that is entirely up to you , your hustle, your state of mind

Are you a newbie as in you have never danced before ever?
Hard to tell how much you will make but the champagne rooms cost the customers $600 and you get $300 of that cut for an hour (don't quote my on exact prices cuz it's been a while since I've been there but it's prolly still about the same).
If you're a complete newbie , are you good at making sells?
Floor dances were $20 and the semi-private dances were $20 for you and $10 to the door man , including having to tip the door man( in the ruby room on the side) , but in that room it's easier to get tips offs guys. It's your personal preference.
So based on those prices and your ability to close sells.
House fees there are cheap but you have to tip Dj and house mom $20 on top of house fees and they change day to day (as in more expensive on the busier days)

Don't email clubs, they 90% of the time don't even have a staff member who checks them lol.
Always call, and ask what time they hold auditions. If I can remernber correctly it is 7pm but you need to call and ask to be sure. If you can't get a hold of them on the phone just show up to the club in person and ask to audition. They make exceptions sometimes on timing, especially if you're hot, and on Long Island (or anywhere really) especially if you're blonde lol.

I never worked at billy deans maybe another chicka can give you some insite for there babe

Do you live on Long Island/familiar with the area?
The clients can be good with money, some are filthy rich living of mommy and daddy's money
Some ARE daddy with the money lol, a bunch of very well established older men
Your ability to get them to spend that money is yours....since you're you will have to figure out through trial and error what clubs you will be most successful at as it changes for each girl at any club unless you've become evil down to the core of you're being like me and could sell lemons to a lemon tree but that's beside the point lol
If you have a sells background you'll do go anywhere lol....

Small warning I hate to say if a club has champagne rooms with doors you can assume why. Be careful, but if you're looking to dance in outer NY or NYC prepare yourself that you may not be around just dancing. It is not this club specific it is the whole entire region so escaping that aspect can be hard, but if you're smart you will develop ways to work around it. If you're from LI I'm sure you how they "party" *wink* lol

I just moved to LI. I'm from the south. I have belly danced professionally just not stripping. I do have a lot of good networking/people/sales skills from being in the professional world so that will help.
