    Default Financial Peave University

I am wondering if anyone here has taken the financial peace university course created by Dave Ramsey. I started watching his youtube video over the spring.

This summer I got his course and I am working on the baby steps. I figure with being a cam model, and working in sex work it makes sense to work through the baby steps to at least motivate myself and also keep myself accountable something I wasn't doing when I started out in this career.

The only thing is the whole living debt free. well with running an online business being in Canada and majority of my expenses are in American dollars having a credit card just makes sense. so I guess I am following it but no religiously.

    Yep. It's cool.

I like how he recommends using cash more bc it's easy to lose track of card purchases.

With regards to credit cards n such I think he's referring to typical employee not like business owners or independent contractors

I was thinking with getting a credit card. I only need one but I am thinking if there is savings account that carries the card payments it should work itself out.
That way I am ready for the minimum payment or more every month.

Hi. I've read his Total Money Makeover book and saw some of his Debt-Free and budgeting videos. They make sense. He hates debt with a passion. Then, I read some books from Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad as well as a few others), and he makes a fortune off of debt. They both have good points. If you're looking to get out of debt, Ramsey's Debt Snowball is probably the thing to do. Hope I didn't make things too confusing.
