    Default claw toe!

    Hello hustlers!

I'm looking for a new pair of shoes as my current click clacks are rapidly biting the dust. Specifically the plastic across the toe is separating from the platform! I'd love some advice, because try as I might to buy shoes that fit right, break them in properly etc, i still end up with some amount of the dreaded claw toe. (when your toes hang off the front of the platform) While I have certainly seen worse cases than mine, I would love to avoid it altogether! My feet are pretty big (anywhere from a 9 - 11 depending on the brand in civilian shoes). So far I've had a few pairs of pleasers in a 10. This seems like the right size? My foot comes to the back of the shoe where it seems like it should but eventually as the clear plastic part stretches my toes can end up creeping out! I've been buying the clear plastic strap type thus far. Anyone got hot tips or sizing advice or maybe another brand to consider?

    Thanks!

Hi, & welcome, check out Body Business section, lots of shoe threads..
What helped me was measuring my foot, I used a tape measure, the shoe site had a size chart stating the measurement
If you have a store in your area, you can try on shoes, otherwise it's pretty much trial& error, & brands/styles will fit differently. I had to order/ return a couple times, my feet are arthritic so I need support
If there's a drag shop it's better, they have larger size shoes, wigs, etc

The pleather top ones stretch less so if they fit properly at purchase you shouldn't have claw toe until it's time to chuck them anyways.

If you're allowed to wear boots at your club you could also get a cute pair of the pleaser ankle booties (open or closed toe) because then your feet can't slide forward.

There are some styles that run narrower as well, in particular i remember the "toothy" looking pleaser platforms with the strap tops, they had like angled metallicspiky triangle look on the platform, having a much tighter strap over the top of the foot than others i have tried.

thanks ladies... I have tried a pair of pleaser booties but had to return them because they just did not fit at all lol. and I think part of the problem is that my feet are pretty wide and also different sizes... i dug around for more shoe threads and came across heelsnthrills.com and think i'm gonna order a custom pair from them! anyone gone through them before? their shoes look great and reasonable for custom work.

Yeah their shoes are awesome. Their footbed is also poofier than a pleaser so they stay comfy for longer. If you have the time to wait for a custom pair they are deffo worth the price.
