WWW Built up a successful niche but starting to travel dance .. advice?

Hey everyone! I'm new to this forum but not new to lurking it. Therefore, I hope I'm posting this in the right section ..
I've been dancing for 3 1/2 years now. I'm 23 so I started young-ish. When I first started, I wore the typical 'dancer' outfit: the heels, the gowns (depending on the place), etc
A little later into my 3rd year I developed a pretty bad foot injury and couldn't wear those heels anymore. I stopped going to the upscale club I was going to and decided to check out a dive and see if I could get away with wearing flats. What was originally going to be a temporary thing turned into a full blown niche.

The 'dive' accepted me and I basically said "eff it" and started channeling my southern roots .. ha! I wore various cowboy boots and tie up flannels. Various outfits I've created myself and bought. Super cut-off shorts and stripped down to lacey white panties. I danced / dance to strictly country and I'm super into it. I've been at this club since and working at others along the coast and I'll tell you - we don't get the typical redneck crowd. I make more than I ever made before, and people come to the club for the 'country girl.' Its awesome because I feel much more comfortable of course; but I'm also happier and more confident. I think it shows.

I've decided to start traveling around different areas of the states later this year.. not for dancing, just because I love to travel. The only thing is, I'm not sure what other clubs during my nomad adventures would be okay with what I have going. I've worked at several places with it with no problem, but I almost guarantee that I'd have a problem in a place like New York City or Vegas. One of the things that made me ask, is because I do have a friend across in LA who has her own niche as well that's not your average dancer look who has worked in Vegas and NOLA.

Should I pack up the old outfits / shoes and bring them along with me? Leave my niche behind? Bring both styles and ask a club just in case if they'll let me perform the way I normally do? I've read that the bigger clubs in Vegas pretty much play whatever they want - which obviously wouldn't work well for me. Any advice on my odd question is appreciate.

For the record: I'm 5'3 1/2. 110 pounds, blonde hair. Large naturals with a pretty athletic body type.

You sound hot so I bet you can probably do whatever you want. However most upscale clubs require stripper shoes so I'd definitely bring those and some more normal outfits just in case managers aren't down for a more casual look. I also notice that different looks do better in certain clubs. I think it's good to bring a variety but more importantly to wear what makes you feel confident and like a money maker. So you might not be able to do cowboy boots but you can still keep your country vibe intact.

Bring both! However most upscale clubs have dress codes and require heels.

You might be able to find a happy compromise that is somewhere in the middle. I have high heeled cowboy boots (even a pair with a stiletto heel)

And trashy has 2 collections that have either gingham outfits or denim looks

These would probably be ok in clubs that are a little bit strict (I know even some shitty clubs don't allow cut off denim shorts), and you could wear the outfits with regular heels and if you did your hair in say... pig tails you could still pull off a similar vibe.

If its a gown club you're stuck like chuck, how good is your southern accent?

WOW!!! Those white lace boots ... amazing! I've never seen anything like that before
I definitely have a lot of outfits like those. Love them.
I don't mind gown clubs .. but they're a little tougher for me to get into. I think a happy medium might work in the more popular / upscale ones as well. Worth a try.

My southern accent is pretty strong. Sometimes customers get confused when I ask them if they need some phone light to see in their wallet. The word 'light' ALWAYS throws them off :p it even makes me roll my own eyes sometimes.

Oh that came out kinda bad. I mean by that, they're tougher for me to get into mindset wise. I feel sort of uptight anytime I step foot into one

I think your concept is cute. There's this woman with your same build that only dances to country @ my new club. But it's mandatory we wear gowns. If the boots might be an issue, I found some boots I just bought online for my cowgirl set. I'll post the picture for ya!Screenshot_20170929-224221.jpg

LOL I love the long detailed description of the country gal act as if no one else has done it before or the name you chose want enough to clue us in.

Lots of gowns for stripping aren't David's Bridal bridesmaid dresses. Nope, they are of stretchy material that is easy to put on, remove & dance in. There are plenty a gal can order off of the internet.

Every club does have a different dress code, but more importantly every state has different laws. Like you can't just fly into Vegas & start working. There are permits, back ground checks at the Sheriff's office. All of them costing money. In another state a $150 fee and have to take a health code cleaning class for food service.

Hustling is hustling & not about what you are wearing.

90% of clubs in Oregon are ok with flats.

haven't seen her in a while... but there used to be a girl at my club who wore flannels, daisy dukes and a cowboy hat. guys really dug it.. but we are in texas and i believe she actually lives on a farm and rides horses so it works for her because it's not just a lame schtick and it makes sense.

if you tried to do that in a place like NOLA, LA, Vegas.. you'd look ridiculous and like you're trying way too hard.
