Default did any of you ever live in apartment you hated you were unhappy in

Did any of you experience this but could not move?
I am very unhappy in a place i live in but currently cannot easily move because am building fanbase and doing very well in camming making lots of money and each day I would take off really cost me $150 -$550 and also I see nothing available in area I want to live in. But some days I just cannot go on anymore. All the time there is something going on , people crossing boundaries , garbage lying around, unsafe situations of them leaving stuff around when windy, always someone hanging around outside to chat and so many more things and they charge me $1200 a month and I camt take this anymore but am making more and more money on cam amd worried about losing my regulars if I take too many days off to find new place.
On top of that there is more going on in this building that is just stessful I just dont want to disclose this dont want to see thos written as long as i live here it only makes it worse.
I really just want a clean place in ok safe area and to be left alone. Only ok safe area is part pf the deal here.
Regulars find new models at a drop of a hat one day offline and they gone with their dicks elsewhere amd I have to keep track have to keep going in this horrible place but sometimes I feel I will blow is so hard here.
Just wanted to vent but if anyone has a story or advice will maybe write more. Wonder how any of you like your apartments or houses and how did you find them.

Just save some money and use a small portion to hire an assistant to find a new place that fits your criteria

Do what you can to make it feel like "home" in the meantime and call corporate and/or call popos when necessary. Most apartments have rules against people who don't live there just loitering around.

Yes, the apartment I live in now. It used to be a decent area with mostly quiet, elderly neighbors but a bar opened up right next door, the elderly neighbors passed away or moved out and the younger crowd moved in. Neighbors and their guests like to park in other peoples' parking spots. Each apartment has designated parking spots so it's highly annoying when that happens. People here are disrespectful of others' property and it's not unusual here to have your car keyed, bike tires slashed, packages stolen, someone else's garbage left in front of your door, or to witness Jerry Springer type episodes loudly broadcast in the hallway or on the porch. I feel ya because I hate where I live, too. On your down time or on a slow night look for another place. I do webcam too as one of my gigs and I have been looking for another place to live. I do apartment searching online when I'm taking break from cam or my other gigs or late at night before bed. I suppose you could hire someone to help you find a new place, like miss.a.p. suggested.

1] find a realtor or rental agent to filter listings for you. Might mean paying an agent fee, but if money is more plentiful than time, pay the fee

2] learn to refine your craigslist searches, while it has become increasingly spammy[was recently looking for a relative] good search criteria yield more time effective results

This is what I see in your posting:

You are working too damn much.

If you cannot pull yourself out of work long enough to look at a few apartments a week, you are working too many hours

Look, I am not saying I understand your whole life, but I know my own personal failure[uhh one of my....] is organization, so when i say 'I don't have time' it really means I have wasted all the time I should have been doing something useful with.

How much do you work? Making money is important, but surely you can take 1 or 2 days off a week, or pull some 6 hour days, leaving you time to do other things before/after camming.

I've lived in some pretty terrible places. One with a lot of roommates who sound like yours - messy, crossing boundaries, always having shady people around, making the place a living hell. One was just a depressing, shitty little apartment. Your mental health is important, and that is super tied in to your environment, especially if you work from home!

You sound like you rock it on cam. Surely, you will continue to rock it and bounce back even if you aren't working yourself to death every day while you set aside time for other, important things.
Don't try to win over the haters. You are not the Jerk Whisperer.

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

It's totally worth it to find a better place. From personal experience, Living in an environment you don't feel good in will slowly creep up on you and chip away at you slowly until feeling crummy becomes normal to you. Trust me, making a move will be a good thing for you mentally and physically.

*raises hand and stares at the flooded parking lot and my kitchen faucet that won't give me water*

I *hate* our apartment complex. I love our actual apartment; it was a really good deal at first and it's HUGE. But management, ugh. They've done a lot of shitty things to us, broken our windows and charged us to fix it, tried to tow my car for no reason, at one point tried to incite an argument between my SO and I... Plus the rent keeps going up ($50 more this renewal!) but the place is getting so ghetto. There's a literal block full of Mexican gangbangers and black guys riding around blasting rap & playing at being drug dealers. The cops are here so much it's insane.

We haven't moved cuz it was still reasonably cheap but now our patience has run out. This is the last 2 months here.

I would suggest getting on something like apartments.com and punching in your zip code or city. You can see all the places around in your rent range w/ whatever amenities you want. I'm sure there's SOMETHING. Then cross check on Yelp/Google/ApartmentRatings to see if they have any really bad complaints. You can use a crime map website to check crime and stuff.

I know you don't wanna take days off to move but you can move piecemeal. Maybe tell your fan base when you'll be on, like 4 hours a day or something, and do the other hours to move. Maybe pay an extra couple days rent at the new place so you can be more leisurely at getting moved.

Hey! I read all your posts and it really helps. Am thinking maybe I could schedule a day offline here and there maybeon modays when slower is just difficult to say no to all the money. But maybe I could make even more money in different apartment. I think maybe some of you are correct am working all the time. I mean one day off is ok once in a while. That is something i rarely give myself am oonline even with period only do topless then.
Also helps reading your stories. Sorry it happened to many of you lousy place but reading about it makes me feel better. I am very often just stresed in my place. I never know what next. they seem to be permanently fixing somethung every day too, painting , junk everywhere it never stops.
I think i should be paying about 700 for this.
But am thinking now will look around I got money. Maybe I could find a cheaper house to rent. Dont want to spend too much want to keep saving .

Yes, of course. Most apartments suck, because landlords and neighbors suck.
The kind of people who rent apartments usually tend to not respect their place.
I've been a renter for 35 years in over 20 places, and several cities, towns, and states.
The ONLY places I've ever lived that were decent have been condos.
If you can rent one, I highly recommend it.
The owners and neighbors there tend to be better, due to pride of ownership.
My next home will be my own condo.
    Fuck renting!
If you work from home, like we do, it's imperative to have quiet, and to have things in the apartment work correctly.
Good luck, and keep us posted.

will check out condos then thank you. I had these disabled on zillow now looked most have new bathtubs and look really clean nice. I dont know why i disabled condos. I thought they rent from owner directly and would have some owner in my business but now I see companies rent these.

Haha girl I feel you! They did roof construction for 21 days this summer, scattered throughout in increments of a few days. No warning ever. I'd wake up at 7:30 to hearing a drill directly over my head, thinking I was in the Saw movies. No idea why they were working on one building that long.

All renting is gonna have at least a couple minor issues because it IS owned by someone else. The trick is to make them as minor as possible.

The things is why is it done every day something. Am starting to think this stuff is pointless. Is there a reason to work on a building constantly? Then there is junk lying around and moved everyday in different section in front or behind building. Seems like they work on things constantly creating stress, noise, junk and things are never finished.Things always lying around all over I never know what new every day. I just dont understand. When does the work on building end? Does it ever end.
I lived in one nice place once. Great, quiet, landlord ok - i wish i stayed there but moved to different city.

My theory was that they were a separate roofing company and paid hourly so they were just milking the clock and the job.

Our maintenance does what you're saying too, completely pointless busy work. My favorite is leaf blowing. It's just walking around, blowing leaves into different areas. They never actually pick it up They're also big on cutting the trees and leaving the branches for days. Meanwhile they can't seem to find time to fix 2/3 of the hot tubs.

It's just hourly workers not giving a shit, trying to collect a paycheck while doing the least actual work possible. They're out "working on something" probably conveniently on the other side of the complex away from the office so they don't get caught doing nothing. You hammer and make noise and move some stuff around to make it look like work.

I know cause my partner & I did this at our job back in the day, we were constantly "fixing things" in the warehouse, but really we just didn't wanna sit in the office or go on field work Bet money that's it!

Yes, babe, it's the only way to go.
    * I was standing in line to get into a restaurant yesterday, and there were 2 women in front of me.
One of them was complaining that she was sick and tired of her landlord, because he never fixes things. She said she was going to find another apt.
It took everything I had not to tell her what I just told You.

I lived in a condo & it was a nightmare, because the maintenance guy & his hired buddies were jerk who rarely took care of anything.
They kept my personal info despite many requests to return it
I took them to court & lost, I had an excellent Attorney too.
Which's why I avoid HOA (homeowners association).
To the original post, yes, too many.

So if you have the resources to move then you should.

I currently need to build up my credit, make sure my tax return reflect my income and ability to handle the rent cost , plus my bank statements, and even probably make a new job letter for myself or have a lawyer prove I am self employed. I only have a rough of idea that's what I will need when I move because my cousin is trying to get into my building. and I picked up an application for her and read their requirements.

IT does not make any sense living in a place where you do have the money to move.

My situation I have to be grateful on I have a place to live and just make my apartment are comfortable as possible until I am able to move out.

With my building a lot of the tenants gather in the lobby and literally complain about the building and management. Since the last few years when management changed over the building has become less friendly. Plus all the constant construction happening where they want to patch up the place so they can charge higher rent.

I know which neighbourhood I Want to move to but the rent in that area is like 3x times what I am paying now. not only do I hve to make sure I am making income to reflect that future living cost, I have to be super drilled about savings so I Can move and rent or move and buy and first time home owner.

I am not really all that hey I want to be a home owner I just know I want to change my living situation.

I only say this because this is something I have issues with. Psychological safety is just as important as physical safety. I have to remind myself that a lot! Where you live is important. I would look into a duplex or something. It’s always a gamble. My therapist helped me figure out why I had so many crazy neighbors. I think every neighbor I’ve had as has triggered me. Anyways, she said it was because I live in an apartment complex and basically there’s so many people in a small space. For right now that’s all I can afford. Anyways, yes I hate living somewhere where I don’t feel safe even though I spend a decent amount. I sometimes fantasize what it’s like to have a penis and not have to worry about creepy guys.

    This. So much this.
I like to hermit sometimes, when the world, or camming has become too much. It's the way I recharge.
Shame that I can NEVER seem to get the peace and relaxation that I psychologically need at home.

This is exactly that. Sonetimes i get more relaxation in a park. People are so disrespectful. I pay rent on time that should buy me simething 4 fuckung walls and gtfo my life. I want my home to be a sanctuary. Do I need to pay 35 million for justin bieber house because I dont have that much. I went as far as researched off thegrid houses in costa rica I want peace so much . But the internet factor is out of the question I have to live in the city. What are my options for more isolated? If i rent a house will take more time to save to buy my own.
I thought it was my problem but I see a lot of you are going through this I mean we need to be left alone.
