Default A 2017 update on England? (London)

Hey everyone first off, I posted here a little while ago asking about travel dancing btw and got a ton of help - so thank y'all.

To the point - I'm moving to England next year from Florida for university. I've been searching through thread after thread for info on the London area (where I'm headed) but I'm getting a little worried. From what I've read so far: little to no contact, strict rules, mostly eastern European women, outrageous house fees, etc.
I currently live in Tampa and dance in 2 clubs and its pretty much the polar opposite here; FULL contact, easily broken rules, easily payable house fees ($30-$60) and full schedule flexibility (literally took this entire week off)

I'm not sure how many English girls are active on this forum but is it really, really that bad? I've been to London various times throughout the years as I love to travel and I've seen a decent amount of clubs in central London that look like they'd make bank. A little shocked reading the crappy reviews. Is it even worth trying out the Rhino and other good location clubs or should I travel to dives?
I'm used to $400 being a bad night. What should I expect of London / the surrounding area? Anyone working in clubs within the last few months? And possibly .. any American girls have experience in the U.K. / London as I'm beginning to think its a totally different environment to clubs in the states
    Thank you!!

So funny, I'm from Florida and dance in Tampa and just moved to The UK this past year! I miss the full contact, and money definitely isn't what it is in the states.

I have no experience in England, so I can't help much. My good nights here are my bad nights in Florida, but I'm in a totally different area.

One thing you might have a problem with though is your visa. Are you counting on a student visa to work? Technically that's not allowed (stripping on a student visa), but I'm not sure how much the clubs will care. I heard they can be pretty strict. My club didn't even ask about my immigration status when I went to get hired, but they did ask me to bring a copy of my ID, which has my work permission stated on it.

I say give it a shot, but have a back up plan.

How ironic where in the U.K. are you if you don't mind me asking? I find it so funny that you say you miss full contact because I feel ill miss it, too. It's just what I'm use to and it's been my entire dancing career so far, so! I have no idea how to air dance. Hahahaha.
Ive actually asked around about the student visa thing; and most answers from English friends I have are
"meh." It seems like dive clubs would be my safest bet given that 'bigger' London clubs would be more likely to care. I actually really don't mind dives. I work 2 clubs at the very moment and my divey one is my absolutely favorite and go-to over any glittery fancy one.

If i run into 'technical' issues with my student work visa I can still cam (which I haven't done in a couple years but I did enjoy it for the time I did.) but I'm really hoping it all works out fine. I'd much prefer that to be my back up plan over workin the till at a tesco, :p

also another question since you're from Florida; how is hustling British guys? Any different or any specific type of convo that works differently than here? I sure know how to hustle rednecks and drunk business men but have such little experience with foreigners.

Yeah, I came home for Thanksgiving and have been dancing in Tampa again while I'm here. I'm gonna be so sad to leave again Lol.
I'm all the way up in Aberdeen. Not sure how the laws there compare but we don't actually have to air dance. It's one way contact so we can touch the guys. I still prefer full contact but it could be worse.

I find British guys pretty easy to hustle. This might be different in London, but the majority of dancers where I'm at are Romanian. Being a native English speaker already puts me in a minority, and being an American makes me like an exotic rare bird to these guys As soon as they hear my accent the conversation gets super predictable, which kinda drove me crazy at first but I started coming up with some one liners to help use it to my advantage.

Avoiding politics is a no-brainer in the club, but sometimes guys try to bring it up to me because I'm American. I generally use either self deprecating humour or just being a straight up bitch to shut it down. You'll figure out your own way, but be prepared for that lol

I feel like London clubs are probably more diverse, but if American strippers are uncommon that'll definitely work to your advantage. If you have any kind of southern accent I'd suggest trying to play it up and see how that works for you. A lot of British guys seem to be into that accent for some reason lol
