    Default Returning to the clubs

So I've decided to go back to stripping after about a year and a half break from it and I'm feeling surprisingly nervous! Even though I danced for about two years in London (which is completely shit for stripping). I've decided to just do it on the weekends alongside my full-time job, but I seem to be really overthinking everything and can't seem to even choose which club to work in in my city :/ Doesn't help that there's barely any info on my city.

Has anyone felt like this after returning to dancing after such a long break from it?

Yup, I took about 7 months off this year. You just have to get back on the horse and do it! You'll get back into the groove once you have a few shifts under your belt.

Just returned to dancing a few weeks ago after nearly a year break. Smoked a bowl before I went to meet the manager. Once I sold my first dance my anxiety disappeared. It’s like a riding a bike.

Same, have taken breaks, and always get the jitters going to a new club. Just do a meditation or yoga first. Smoke a bowl/have a glass of wine/coffee/ the social lubricant of your choice and go get your money. You already have the skills and are willing the only thing standing between you and your profit is yourself.

So, I ended up finally going to one club last week. And I left within fifteen minutes of being there! Last night, another, better club. Left after two hours. What the hell is up with that? It's not like I haven't done it before. But I just felt real done with it. It was almost a reminder of why I stopped in the first place. Perhaps it's just run it's course. I got there in a pretty good mood and was generally pumped that day, but my energy dropped drastically after hustling real hard for a couple of hours.

I'm still not totally sure what it is, but it felt like more effort than what it's really worth. And -- I just do not have the patience that I used to have compared to when I first started. Is it just me, or is stripping mostly not worth it anymore? I mean, I'm sure it's different for everyone. But I have several friends who just don't do it because it's such a hassle these days and the money seems generally rubbish.

I'll add to this thread soon. Yes long breaks can really interrupt a girl's hustle mojo

I can understand where you're coming from. I went back to the club a few weeks ago which officially ended my break. I had several amazing nights thrown in with one night from stripper hell, and that hellish night reminded me of all the reasons why I stopped dancing and started pursuing other forms of SW in the first place. It was like every type of shitty customer you could possibly imagine was there that night and the amount of money I made that night was insulting. Other avenues seem to be working better for me. I don't have the same patience to deal with BS that I used to have, I don't like working until 6AM and reeking like cigarette smoke when I come home, I don't like dealing with the broke time wasters and not having a handy dandy block/ban option, I can't stand demeaning managers, and I've noticed that my once wonderful club has really gone downhill in every aspect. Plus extras have reached a whole new level in SoFla, where I work. Basically every girl is having sex in the back for $200. It's truly sad. Makes me wonder if it's time to hang up the heels since relocating isn't an option at the moment.

I watched a documentary on the stripping culture of Europe and I was in complete shock! I was like what do you mean there's no tipping culture??? Lmao and that the girl only make their money from dances. I can barely stand stripping in America (From my experience), but I couldn't imagine myself stripping in a place like Ireland, Greece, etc. But I do know Fetish providers make bank over there! Them Euro boys drop mad bread I heard.

YES. I think returning can be twice as difficult as starting for the first time. For many reasons! When you return, you know what you're getting yourself into, and your expectations for yourself are much higher than when you're starting for the first time.

London is a rough gig, from everything I've read! I know we have some decent UK threads around here, including some great advice from ladies struggling with the London situation. Check out club chat, if you haven't already!

The high expectations are definitely true! For me, anyway. I was reading a diary I had when I first started stripping and one night I made $131, and I was writing about how happy and grateful I was! I wrote about how it wasn't much but it was still more than some college grads were making in a day. Now I consider that a bad night at the strip club. Maybe I need to practice my gratitude! Lol

There's definitely no tipping culture in Europe and not even here in Australia. I've moved back in Sydney and honestly, I don't know what the clubs here are like. I've not heard anything amazing, and girls I've spoken to have recently quit the industry because it's just not that great anymore. I mean, I have a vanilla job I like. I make $31 (AUD) per hour. And I think - why the fuck would I bother going back to dancing? I'm lucky I live in a country that pays so well for your average job. I think I'm addicted to those amazing nights but I'm not sure i can handle the shit nights anymore these days. Again, seriously no patience. I would love to try it out again, probably in a better city, but I'm not sure. I just can't believe how exhausted I felt after a couple of hours. It just feels like stripping naturally reaches its end point differently for everyone and I've reached mine. But it is really shit how men are expecting so much more for much less cash these days. From what I've read in so many threads on here, I can't believe for some ladies $100 in a night is a relief. Then again, it was for me when I was working in London on certain dead ass nights. This job just feels like an addiction sometimes!
