    Default Cover or no cover?

Has anyone worked in a club with no cover that decided to add one? How did it work out for y'all? My club has no cover and is adding a $5 one. I'm feeling like I'm about to lose a bunch of my regulars along with all the people who are coming just for cheap beer.

$5 is not a huge deal and personally I don't want anyone in my club who gets upset at that, because that means they can't afford to go in the first place.

If your regular really wants to see you, $5 more ain't gonna stop him.

Cover is a good thing cause it helps to weed out the guys that just want to sit there for free. Like if $5 is an amount of money that you actually think about whether you will spend, you don't belong in a strip club.

I work in a club with a $20 cover and rightfully so. I wish it was $50! If you're going to hem and haw over a cover fee, you have no business being in a strip club.

Thanks guys! All the other clubs in town have a cover so it's not like the cheapos will have anywhere else to go

My club does not charge a cover except on Sat nights, and then it's a whopping $5. When we do special events they charge $10. I've read input here that a cover would be better to weed out the freeloaders, which my club has a lot of.

Cover should be, in every club, in every city, two $40 dances in non-refundable dance dollars and one $20 drink ticket imo. I'm only being slightly facetious.

I've only worked in one place with no cover out of like 20 or 30 or more.

Cover weeds out the riff-raff looky loos.

If no cover, then definitely some sort of minimum purchase required as soon as their pinky toe crosses over the threshold.
