I don't think so. At least you have the freedom to move anywhere else on the planet and continue camming.
But, I don't think someone can "beat" the internet. The amounts of money that are pulled from camming (for example) are too big, to be allowed this to happen. I am pretty sure that things are not remaining the same, when a company (like Streamate, Myfreecams, etc) is being shut down, just like that.
Afterall, we can always find ways to keep doing this. Skype, is an example. Or, new sites appearing. And so on.
Also, blogs, own sites, etc. There are various ways. They can't control everything.
Look at Skype, They tried to shut down the accounts of camgirls. Mine is still safe, because I didn't mention anything adult on topic.
The internet is like a monster with 7 heads. You cut one, two more are growing.

Look at the piracy sites. Those where u can download free music from youtube. They close one, other appears. LOL.

The Corporations who want Net Neutrality gone are WAY bigger than any cam company. We aren't just talking camming, but all clip stores, more money to see social media sites and such.

It is scary, the corporations of the world want to make us all much much poorer & despite them being multi-billionaires much much richer. We are going back to a serf system.

The actions the UK Government is taking regarding the internet and restricting pornography, is concerning too.

I think they want to control more than just porn, I feel like they're trying to control every aspect of the internet. You know how in some Syfy movies there's a Utopia and everyone acts proper and follows a certain regiment, well I feel like that's what the government and rich people are tryna to accomplish aka a total police nation and world. With them trying to control the internet and Artificial intelligence actually being a real thing I feel like Syfy movies were showing a prediction of what these people what to happen.

They do want to control the internet...especially as social media is a way to engage people before elections.

    Ok.
    This just in:
They still have to go to court..
There's something about the vote, it was illegal
Ed Scneiderman, an attorney, said on Twitter, "I will sue to stop FCC's illegal roll back of net neutrality".
Everyone deserves a free & open internet.
Not only is there another ally, but the fact remains:
the vote wasn't supposed to happen!
    Now starts the real fight

This is all just fueling crypto currency and encouraging people to go off grid. With wind/solar power becoming so cheap it's only a matter of time before we won't need the government for anything and there will be a separate, free, underground internet powered completely off grid. I'm not worried and if anything, it will be a big boost to anything stigmatized at this time. Fuck them.

    Breaking news:

Nearly 20 states have joined NY to sue frump's FCC & stop roll back of #Net Neutrality.

    How you can help:

November 6, 2018 vote out the GOP, & end this.
    #Resist w/your vote.
These people have no idea, about net neutrality, how ISP can control content or force purchase of their services, or watch 3rd party sites at slower speeds.
    No consumer
    wants to end net neutrality

I'm honestly not surprised that it passed. People seemed to have been asleep, didn't care or were naive to NN. It didn't seem like anyone was really talking about it, even on here it wasn't really a big topic or a long discussion. Some people were actually arguing that NN was a good thing (people outside of SW....vanilla ppl). I know everyone doesn't see things the same and people have different opinions but I was smh at the people who were trying to argue that NN is a good thing.

I haven’t been very politically active, but it’s more out of pessimism and a sense of helplessness. I don’t feel too confident about our system. The people in charge right now have been bought out by the wealthy. Until they’re replaced, I don’t believe my voice means anything. At least, as far as voting. I DO think a public outcry, blasting the unfairness all over social media, and organizing to make this more difficult to execute, can make a difference. They’re trying to control us with a legal system, so we need guerrilla tactics.

I also think some kind of big civil unrest is going to take place, if things keep going in this direction.

I am furious, even sick to my stomach about this. This is an absolute violation of our rights and freedom. What about the cam and porn community?! 98% of people chimed in and said they do NOT want the repeal and they went ahead and did it anyway. Absolute selfish pieces of shit. I’m so pissed about this. I feel VIOLATED. Like ROBBED!!!!
It’s scary because if they can just take away internet freedom like this, what else do they have in mind for the future? What else will be taken? What else do they want control over? I am hoping and praying Congress does not allow this repeal.

Idk if y'all read http://theguardian.com but check out some of our poverty statistics - shocking!
And WHY we have the Highest infant mortality rate

While people are making noise on social media the leading party is making plans that don't benefit the majority. Social media is great and a wonderful way to spread a message but at the end of the day it's your vote that counts. And not just in major elections. It's important to invest time in reading up on what's happening on a local and state level as well. I meet too many people who don't participate in the smaller elections and then wonder "How is this happening?" It's because they weren't paying attention. We can use social to connect and create a movement or offer support to specific groups, but Voting is how you replace the people in Washington,DC. And that starts locally. Otherwise you kinda get what you get.

Reminder that this affects everyone, not just Americans. Anyone who surfs, uses or cams on American sites, webhosts, payment processors, etc. Every other country in the world might support NN, but considering the oversized presence American sites have on the net and ecommerce in general, I would not be surprised if camming suffers for everyone. SM is based in Seattle and MFC in Colorado. The biggest camming sites, our livelihood, might be gimped. Doesn't matter where you live, if they go down we're all in trouble.

I'm not American but I am an International Relations student and US Republicans have made me more sick to my stomach than ever this year. Trump is their shield and will eventually be their fall guy; all three branches of government are in their control right now. And so we're seeing just how evil they can be when it comes to their true agenda (making more money for corporations at the expense of individual citizens), and how pathetic and incompetent they are when it comes to their campaign promises (better healthcare than Obamacare, lower taxes for everyone). It's giving everyone who watches American politics some mad second-hand cringe and embarrassment on your behalf.

Americans, please make well-informed votes in your 2018 midterms. We love to make fun of you, but the truth is the world needs a healthy, thriving and economically strong America. Please take the time to vote. Please. Take one day off and save the whole goddamn world.

I know this looks BAD, but there is hope. Keep calling and leaving VOICE messages to your congressman. Keep emailing, and talking on the phone with live reps. They still have to pass thru another branch of congress before it passes officially, and most importantly congress can still kill it by passing a resolution of disapproval.

Also, cell service isn't under Net Neutrality laws. It is essentially what home internet will become if NN passes, and we still get a good chunk of traffic from cell services.

Keep calling, and emailing congress. Demand a "Resolution of disapproval". And I mean use those words. "I DEMAND a resolution of disapproval for doing away with NN as a American citizen with rights that I feel are being in infringed upon to service big business" is what I saw when I call.

If you want it, you fight for it, or else we don't deserve it.
