YURSSS!
Thanks for this, I need a new one to use on SM. Slightly worried I can't have two of the same cam plugged in (will the encoder pick it up?) but at £30 I don't really care!![]()

I think you'll have issues with two the same because you can't easily change settings and sometimes a site won't recognise one of them. There's been a few posts on here about itstill at only £30 it's worth checking x

Thanks my love. That is my main concern but it's always handy having a back up, especially at that price. X

This is definitely the time of year to stock up on anything you need for camming.
I've come to the conclusion I need minimum $100 a month saved for upgrades.

Thanks Susie! Grabbed one at this great price, mine's a couple of years old and glad to have a back up for such a bargain!

Mine is quite old now too...I'm wondering though if there is anything better now that I would upgrade to or would I buy another of these if my current one dies.

I've just added one to my basket - I thought I could use one to cam with & the 2nd one to take some pictures with whilst the 1st one is in use.
Would this work - has anybody tried doing this please.
I normally do my pictures when I'm waiting on cam & I think the C920 takes a decent picture.

If I wanna do pictures with the webcam, I do it straight while am broadcasting (I use Verisoft webcam splitter- which has the option to take pictures at your desired frame time) so no need for a second webcam to do that, unless you want another angles. Anyways, pictures come out better on the dslr instead of my webcam.

Thanks Ginny but I don't use a web splitter because I only cam on one site & Yes , I think I'd like to be able to get different angles. I think I'll buy it anyway because mine is also a couple of years old & its good to have a spare.
I'll have a look at the dslr cameras tonight x
It really depends on what you're looking for. The next upgrade would probably be the Brio (Official Thread Here) if you're looking to stick with webcams. I recently bought the Brio. The C920 quality is great but the Brio's quality is amazing, you can definitely see the quality difference between the two. The Brio is alot clearer/sharper, the coloring is more precised and it captures a wider view. If you were to use it for clips the quality is so high that I'm pretty sure you could get your clips to look cinematic (if you're into that look) through color grading.
I thought I was going to absolutely love the Brio however there were a few things that I didn't like about it that made me return it. Logitech removed exposure and gain from the newest software so those settings now permanently auto adjust. So whenever I moved the camera it would get brighter than I wanted. I even tried turning down the brightness but it would still get too bright because there was no way for me to adjust the exposure and gain settings. I tried using the Brio with the regular Logitech software. It did give me the option to control the exposure and gain but it was through property settings that looks like this....

Because the notches are really small it was really hard for me to click on them in order to change the exposure and gain. In fact I wasn't able to get the exposure and gain settings right like I'm able to with the C920. As a camgirl and somewhat of a perfectionist I need to have control of all of my setting, damn'it.
The other thing that bothered me about the Brio was the mount, although its very flexible it was hard to get it in the right position whenever I needed to move it (which I tend to do alot during a camshow). It was really annoying having to fiddle around with the mount trying to get it in the right position during a show especially when I didn't have to deal with that with the C920. I was hoping that I could get use to the auto settings and mount but then I decided to use the C920 again which made me feel like the Brio wasn't worth dealing with. The C920 imo is just so much easier to use.
So although I love the quality that the Brio produced I prefer the C920 because I'm able to easily adjust all the settings to my liking and the mount is easier to position/adjust. So for me its not worth upgrading. I'm hoping that with their next webcam release that they'll add exposure and gain back to the software and put the C920 mount on the webcam or at least give an option of which mount you can put on it. If Logitech were to fix those issues with the Brio I'd surely trade in my C920 for the Brio.

The c922 and razer kiyo are 'better' technically but some sites (i'm looking at you here SM!) aren't capable of utilising them to their full capacity (for decent fps for example you have to use a splitter which makes using SM broadcaster impossible) so you're actually better off with the C920 which is currently the gold standard on most sites x

Is it totally impossible to have two C920s plugged into the same computer and running or is there a workaround? I was thinking of getting a second C920 for leaving AW on in the background while I use another C920 to run the SMB (so not really split-camming, technically).
^^^It depends on your computer. Some computers will show like c920 (1) and c920 which allows you to use 2 of the same webcams while other computers only show 1 webcam c920. You pretty must will have to test it out for yourself to see what results your computer produces.

Thank you! I only just saw your post. I went for it in the end; even if my computer can't pick them both up, it's always good to have a backup, especially at that price.X

Just wanted to let you know that I purchased this and my PC is reading it both the new and old one. I'm using an HP i7 with Windows 10 if that's of any help to anyone. Thanks again, Susie. X

The price went back up the next day. I did get one for a back up...now I'm thinking about giving up camming!
