Thanks. I'm pretty surprised at how well they turn out because I don't do anything special. No editing other than adding a watermark. I'll add more videos as I get other things I'm working on caught up.

You mentioned that you made no income. The problem was that there you uploaded just 1 video. Right now there are over 13K videos on the platform.
I know that you are a big content producer and have around 2K videos in your collection.
That is why I advised you to make a bulk upload to bust your sales. I`m sure that if a producer will upload 1 video to C4S or MV income will be also not very high.

Completely unreasonable is you want content creators from this site or in general. Only people who can create that much content are major companies like Bang bros & such or people who steal content & upload it onto porn tubesites

You are going to have to prove to us that putting in such a great effort, time & money will be worth it.

1 million views to get what kind of sales. As someone who has gotten a million views on other porn tube sites........ And have my site linked to my home pages there, a million views don't do shit for sales. It does get you pestered to upload more free vids & asked for sex, demands of you flying around the world to deliver sex & stories about how they violently want to rape you.

Anyone who is filming, editing & uploading that amount of content better be making $3 million a year.., Which is 2 to 3 scenes a day. So you are telling us that making money on there is impossible.

I, with way more than 1 million views on my content on other porn tube sites can tell you from experience the traffic is crap. Please share some stats & prove me different. I was excited about xhamster, but not so much now. Not spending hundreds of hours uploading, tagging, editing trailers and 500 vids would take a year to make money. I already film edit & upload about 300 vids a year now with my model centro site. I know the work it takes. Waiting a year or more to see income is outrageous.

It is okay to be all about big companies, but if 500 or more vids is what it takes too much work to put in before seeing sales.

And in one of the responses a gal's video got rejected but to see if it gets traction you put it on the free side? Is that what we are to expect all rejected vids are automatically made to the free side?

There are way too many sites that we don't need 500 vids to make money. Bragging about 13,000 vids sounds like too big & all of us will just lost and never make money despite all the time & effort put into it.

Thanks Sam. It doesn't matter how they try to spin it, I'm not wasting weeks of my time uploading 500 videos to a site that's been around for 3 months and has absolutely no reviews from other producers. And as for him saying you wouldn't expect sales from uploading 1 video to ManyVids or other sites, actually I was making money on ManyVids having literally 1 video up. So...

Things I have found out about uploading to normal XHamster (the free side, not premium):

1. You are not allowed to send links to members. Some people were messaging me literally asking "where can I find your porn" or "how can I order a custom video", I was sending them a link and it was getting blocked as spam. Yes, you will have banners and links around your videos on the free site, which is fine for people who just watch my videos, but what about those who send me a message literally asking for a link to order a custom video or my Twitter or something? I can't send it to them.

2. They say you can get a million views and lots of advertising to your store by posting on the free site. Obviously, like Sam said, 1,000,000 clicks doesn't mean a lot of sales. But more importantly, why would I want to get 1 million views on XHamster for $0, when I could upload the same video to XVideos and/or PornHub and actually get paid for the views I get? XVideos and PornHub pay us for uploading our content AND we get the advertising for our clip store, XHamster thinks the advertising is enough? XVideos and PornHub also get far more visitors per day than XHamster, so even if advertising was the only factor, they would both be better than XHamster.

I think this is a write off for now. I'll try again if anyone comes here and says they're making decent money, but I would bet a lot of money that XHamster Premium hasn't even made $10k in the 3 months it's been open.

I was really hoping & exciteda about a tubesite turning into a paying VOD site. Sparky, ya'lll just set the bar do high for the majority of us to make money on that site. When it comes to marketing & getting my brand out there tube sites despite the crazy amount of traffic they get do not convert a decent numbers. Where as my marketing on social media, blogs & tumblr do. Time wize, I am better off creating Memes, Gifs, blogs, pic post for social media & blog account rather than uploading my content onto any tube site.

Time is money. Then I take into consideration my target audience & tube sites don't have them. I want men who make $75,000 a year, white collar, American & in the tech biz. Which I can easily target on my social media accounts. Except for Instagram and facebook which is Middle Eastern & India for me, so I don't bother with them.

Let's see some stats on the type of traffic & where it come from. We are in the tech industry and out of those 1 million views on the link you gave how much of it was bots?
What is the demographics on your traffic?

Now, every major tube site is pretty much owned by one company so traffic is mainly funneled to them. And the independent content creator till the past few years big companies like ya'lls ignored us other than letting our content be stolen and then we have to jump through hoops to get it removed only to have it put back up by thieves under different accounts. ONLY if all of ya'll had verified each & every uploader and if they owned the rights to that content.

And most tubesites traffic is funneled to cam sites where we do convert it into sales. WE help you make money already. Thus I am already getting the traffic to the endeavor where I can monetize it for myself, you & the cam company. While I am on cam, I can up sale my videos without uploading 500 or more onto any site.

Taking that into consideration, let's do some math. I cam on Chaturbate, I am lazy on there & just flash boobs for tokens & have vids on there guys can buy. I average about $50 an hour on it. Now if uploading, tagging, titling, writing a description take me 15 minutes each. Multiply 500 vids times 15 minutes equals is 125 hours. Does Xhamster expect us to spend 125 hours of time in HOPES of making money? $50 times 125 hours is $6250 Can you guarantee that I am going to make $6250 or more with those 500 videos on Xhamster?

Now over all the tubes on content I uploaded & others who own content on me is over 200 million views. And I don't make money unless I am actively pushing my content on social media & blogs. My conversion rate off of those sources is 200/1, before tube sites cam along & gutted my traffic & sales conversion rate for Samantha38g dot com was 300/1. I remember this because of a conversation I had with Porno Dan many years ago & he was shocked at how well I was converting. According to Porno Dan & before porn tube sites existed average conversion rate was 3000/1 for most pay sites. Last year I read with porn tube sites the conversion rate to a big porn companies pay site was 600,000/1

Sadly, cam companies don't give us stats on our conversion rates, but I got a feeling mine is pretty good. So I make ya'll money off of that traffic from tubesites and I am good with our relationship there. Now, I know tube sites are a hungry hungry beast that need lots of new fresh hardcore vids to feed the monster. Which is one of the reasons I have not done hard core in 4 years.

Now, I do wonder how tube sites are going to exist in a world where most of the governments have passed laws requiring age verification process to keep minors from seeing sexually explicit content. Which is why I thought Xhamster doing this biz model was smart. I've already laid my ground work down to get traffic after it happens and since I lived in a time where all porn was behind a pay wall & I was making $10,000 a month off of 2 video updates a month. I'm excited.

Don't forget there is plenty of competition in the pay VOD market. Sites where we don't have to do so much work in order to see monetary results. They may not get your traffic massive numbers, but what they do get is from content performers like us promoting our stuff on social media. Why would any of us promote xhamster where there are plenty of free vids along side our pay for vids? Why would we send traffic that converts very well to other VOD sites than it doe Xhamster?

Perhaps ya'll need to hire me as an consultant because there are sooo many things you are not taking into consideration.

I honestly forgot I had uploaded content to this site. I checked back and I made 2 sales in the last 3 months, total of $11 my cut. Pretty disappointing, but it may be because my stuff is mostly fetish. Anyone else making anything decent here?

I uploaded a total of 7 videos (made hundreds with these exact same videos on clips4sale and iwantclips).

I recently opened a studio and have made ten sales so far. I hadn't even known about it either lol. I uploaded a few clips, assuming I'd receive an email when I made a sale. I never received an email. Then Sparky emails me saying congrats, I made sales. I went to my account and saw six sales! I only have six videos uploaded so I'm kind of optimistic about this site. I don't advertise anywhere nor do I do social media (yes I know this needs to change). My goal is to upload at least five videos a week onto their premium site and see what happens.

For me, the only semi-annoying things are: I can't just copy/paste my descriptions from other clip sites because you're only allowed a certain number of characters. So I have to re-word/condense it which takes a little time. Also, I find the "Under Review" process a little long. A couple videos were under review for almost three full days. I understand they check to make sure nothing is breaking the rules, but it takes long. Even a simple thing such as changing a category puts the whole thing under review, taking another couple days.

But other than that I will continue to keep uploading. Support also gets back to me in a very timely manner whenever I have questions/concerns, which is always good. Everyone's experience will be different though.
