I would say go to random clubs and audition until they say yes
Does anyone know which clubs in the us are friendly to mature dancers?

How old? RIcks.
Ooooold... Very, very old... :-)
Sidenote -- if I see one more comment saying "at 30 a dancer is over the hill" (generally spoken by 20-something dancers), I'm going to scream. The best I ever looked & the best money I ever made came at 36+ for me as a dancer in Vegas & NYC at the high-end clubs -- right there next to all your 18+ cutiepie butts!! So HA to the ageist haters!! There is a lot to be said for the mature adult entertainer, all venues of SW. :-) Never let anyone put you in a box!! You got into this business to march to the beat of your own drum, and that drum beats even past 30!! :-)

Of course, a lot of the clubs in the city don't even hire under 21 unless you're SUPER HOT. Go for it.
I've been in a few clubs over the years, and I've seen super hot women of all ages. I've seen a few mature girls, and they looked fantastic. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and at all ages. And what's super fabulous these days is that no longer do you have to look like a rail thin Barbie doll to work in clubs. It's super fabulous that now thick and gorgeous women are in, women with some serious curves are in, thin is in, fit is in, all ethnicities are in, and anything goes. It wasn't always like that. It was actually very much a nightmare when I first started dancing, and a lot of the women I worked with, due to all the pressure about our looks, they wound up with mental issues, anorexia, and all sorts of other dysfunction, because the amount of pressure the high-end clubs put on the women. Here in New York City, in the early 1990s, the managers used to inspect us nearly with a magnifying glass. We're talking from head to toe, you had to be perfect. If you had even the slightest amount of toe hanging over the front of those shoes, no good. As a matter of fact, my home club, we were not even allowed to wear the platform stilettos. They used to measure the width of our thongs in the back -- back in the days of the super high-waisted look, with our strategic tan lines & metal head "She's my cherry pie" hair -- we were pretty ridiculous back then. :-). We were strictly forbidden from being perfectly flawed humans. It was a lot of pressure.

Well said. They are usually just haters anyways. Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of variety, so no reason to stress about fitting in.
Seriously, if you aren’t traveling why don’t you just audition where you want to work. Worst they can say is no.
Sorry I’m not more helpful. I know in the Midwest they don’t care.

Thanks for the support. The dancing scene is very competitive, and quite honestly, that was part of what kept me on my game. I think the best thing is for me to just make the rounds and see what's going on. I actually still run into managers that I knew from long ago. That's always pretty mind-blowing because it's almost like going into a Time Warp. I think in this business there's room for everyone. You just have to find your club and where you fit in. It's funny, because when I used to dance I used to love going to the other clubs, even just hanging out and party. I can't even remember the last time I went into a club. Although, 2015 I popped into a club in Times Square, just to see the lay of the land, and I ran into one of my favorite old Managers from long ago. We had a great time that night just reminiscing and catching up on things.

^^^ one of my old dancer friends was 60 something. All the other girls made fun of her. I’m just not like that. We always talked at work, she thanked me for being nice to her. The bitch had so much money. She owned her own beauty store. She took vacations all the time. Her husband left her when she was older without an education or work history. She made more money than most 20 something’s. Last I heard she made like a grand on weekends.
I guess some people just like to be mean, but i see no reason to be mean to a mature dancer. That says more about them than anything else. Anyways, I know older dancers who have made $$$. You will deal with catty girls and mean managers. If you work some where where older men are then you can usually make money and work in a supportive environment.
We have a dive bar where mostly mature women work and I think they do decent. Don’t ever feel degraded or like you need to do more cause your older. This one dumb girl said she thought older women had to do more. I told her, “I don’t care how old I am; I’m not doing anything that’s not safe for me.” I think some mature women feel that way, but they must have low self esteem to feel like they have to start doing extras. I started giving better dances and working out like crazy. That’s the most I’m willing to do....lol
People are very ageist, but you will find clientele eventually. Dive bars are a good place. It might feel like downgrading, but there will be less pressure and hopefully more money. I like dive bars as long as they are clean and low drama.
Seriously ^ The older dancers are the ones with the mansions, $90,000 cars, Hermes Birkin bags they bought themselves, retirement plans, and assets and investments up the ass. They realized early on the potential this industry has and have taken full advantage. If you're still making money, you're not too old! That's my philosophy.

^^^agreed. I’m so weird. I had my birthday and they were joking about by about saying I can say I’m 20.
It was very sweet they were just being nice. I laughed. I was like, “I’m proud to be 32; I grow in value every year.” I got some definite side eye from these new girls...lol. Whatever. Whether I’m dancing or not, no one will make me feel less than for getting older. Guys have the right to spend there money how they want, and if they don’t want me fine. No one- not the managers, not the other girls, not friends, not my family or anyone else’s opinion will change how I value myself as a person.

32 is not old, not old at all!
Here are a couple great postings that specifically discuss aging and the business/clubs --
This is a great page to read, and notice Stripperweb member DorienG's comments and photo...

And then, we also have this posting... and I share this comment I placed on it... but the whole posting & thread is great, see the link below...
One of my anti-ageism comments:
"Some of the biggest earners I ever saw in my years, which numbered many, were the 'older' dancers, women who had a few pounds on them along with cellulite, women who were not the bombshell drop dead Divas, and plain Janes. I have also seen women who were the queens of the castle, regarding beauty, but they had such a miserable disposition, that they were not big earners. Yes, being a dancer is primarily a physical matter, as you do have to look good, but it really goes so beyond that."
