Etsy also has pretty wigs. I love wigs, they give that doll look
I love wigtypes, samsbeauty, ebay and aliexpress.

I just bought a grey wig from the Wish app and it's honestly not bad quality but I feel it looks more real IRL than on cam it looks SUPER SHINY whenever I'm camming. I tried dry shampoo(thinking it would be like baby powder) but it didn't really help dull it much. I feel like it's obvious that it's fake on cam. Also, I wanted one that was a lot longer D: this one is decently long but I want like, a SUPER long wig. I still want synthetic tho. Anybody know of a decent priced place I could find such a thing??

You can actually fix up the cheap wig you got to look legit.
To fix the shine- Get a big cheap paintbrush or hair dye brush and mix up a solution of half water, half fabric softener (scentless unless you don't mind your wig smelling strong). Mix it up well and seperate your wig into sections, painting a good amount of it onto each section until they're fairly soaked. Comb through as you're doing this and when it's done, let it air dry completely. For shorter wigs you can mix up the solution in a bucket and let it soak for a few hours then take it out and let dry, would not recommend with longer wigs because they'll tangle like hell.
When it's dry don't rinse it off because the fabric softener is what's covering the shine. If your wig is still too shiny, comb through it with a little talc/baby powder and that should do the trick.
Also, with a lot of my wigs (especially lacefronts) I've trimmed and plucked a hairline and baby hairs into them. TONS of tutorials off Youtube for this (search how to make a synthetic / lace front look natural), and it makes it so much more convincing. Here's a pic taken from a youtuber for example....
If you are still looking for super cheap synthetic wigs tho, eBay is your best bet! I usually get em around $20-25 on there for long wigs. Search up cosplay wigs or the color of the wig you want
Water and fabric softener are great for synthetic wigs, but I wouldn't recommend combing until the hair is dry. I own a few and what I do is brush (with a tangle-free brush), then I style with a straightener or curler, and then I spray the water and softener mix all over and let it dry for a bit. It took me a while to figure this out, but now my wigs look and feel softer and more natural.
Plucking the hairline is also a good idea if the wig has plenty of volume.
I don't work for them or anything it's just a great place to get cheap human hair and synthetic wigs. a lot of wig stores in the USA basically source from places like this and do a mark up but this way you can buy wigs direct and save a lot![]()

Fabric softener... I have the Pinkshow blonde wig from amazon. When I ordered it, I had no idea about "wig care" , so I just got the wig... After a few use, it started to get frizzy , and look ugly. I tried the fabric softener ... it s not the best solution. 50-50% is too much, try to use way less fabric softener if u spray it on the wig, I d say.
It took me 3 week to order a wig shampoo , leave in conditioner and detangler. They work better than fabric softener and home made stuff. (however the wig shampoo is the most important thing imo, other 2 is ... just if u want to spend on them) Also I flat iron the hair every day - sometimes more than once to keep the ends straight and soft.

This wig is extremely thick, heavy , it s A LOT of hair. It tangles and whatever u can imagine. However, I fell in love with this hair, I think I ll buy it again.
I m interested to get a pink one too. maybe.

I have the Kryssma too, in blonde. They are the same color. It s my "backup " wig let s say. I dont like it too much. The wig cap is a little too big, the hair line is different, and it s not as thick as the Pinkshow.
I hope the new one ll work out for u. Or u ll find out soon whatever works for u.
Btw, I wish i d knew earlier about wigs. I always tought they are somewhat gross, but man, even these cheap synthetic ones can look great.
One more thing: It s good if u have a good digital hair straightener. 150C works perfectly.

So i've never really dabbled with wigs and was wondering about wig glue. what's the best or should i just choose something with bangs and no need for glue (ie pin it down maybe)? or is tape better? gah, so many options!
also does anyone else have a lot of hair naturally and still wear wigs? mine is fairly thick and down to my waist straight, but i want to change up the color with a wig. what's the best method for getting it all in a wig cap and having it not look funky?
Thanks!!
My real hair is pretty long/thick. you just coil it up at the back of your head and put a wig cap over. On cam it's easy because they aren't looking closely at your hairline or the back of your head so it doesn't have to be perfect. Wig glue seems like overkill to me, I would just go with the straps/cap that comes with most wigs and pin it to your wig cap with bobby pins

I would never have guessed you were wearing a wig, it looks like very nicely done extensions - it looks really good.
I love the long straight pink wig - I think that would look really nice on you.
This wig thread has inspired me to get myself a wig. I never thought I'd be able to wear one with having a lot of long hair, but I think they're a good idea for working online.
Woah, the wig looks amazing!!!! I could easily say that it's your hair, haha!!! You convinced me to get a wig)) How much time does it take you to put it on?
Can you, please, tell me what shampoo, detangler, conditioner, etc. you got for the wig? I want to get a wig too, but I want to have everything I need to take care of it!!
I just put it on , like it s a hat, so that s not much time. What takes a lot of time, to take care about the wig.The Pinkshow has 180% density i think, the Kryssma somewhat 150% wich is more natural looking.
So, it s a lot of hair, it gets tangled very easily- coz of that i brush it a lot. The ends start to look bad, and need to flat iron it quite often. That takes time.
And what shampoo i use. I wanted to buy Revlon shampoo and stuff, but amazon doesnt deliver it to my country. So I just got this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It s okay.

I have alot of hair and if I don't bind it down in some way I wind up with a cone head look under my wigs. So what I do to minimize this is I plait my hair into smaller braids. I suck at cornrows but I try my hardest to emulate that style going backwards to the nape of my neck. And heavy duty wig caps can help to mash your real hair down too.
