Exclamation Best Clubs in the LA Area for a newbie?

Hi there! I'm new here and I've been thinking about stripping for a couple months. I want to head out to the OC/LA area because it's a decent distance from where I live. I know I want to dance but I am a bit nervous. For one, I have no idea which club to choose. I am fairly confident with myself and I feel that I could do a fully nude club but at the same time I've never stripped before.
Secondly, I live with my boyfriend and his family. He doesn't want me to strip and has expressed that if I do, he doesn't want us to be together. We've been together 3 years. But then later he said that "maybe in the future" I could do it and that he was worried about his parents finding out.
I really need cash (I'm currently in the negatives) and I really can't think of anything else I want to do, but I'm feeling conflicted.
    HELP!

if you're in the negatives how are you going to pay for shoes, outfits, and house fees?

it's hard to say where you should go without any physical description or photo. also there are a ton of threads on LA already if you just search. but based on your situation i honestly wouldn't recommend stripping at all. what if he dumps you? or they kick you out? do you have a place to go? i don't think it's work the risk, LA/OC is really competitive and you might not even make any money

I have places to go if need be, it would just be getting myself on my feet from there. I have a pair of pleasers, so all I'd need is the outfit and house fees (and luckily I've been blessed with many good friends who would be willing to help me if need be).
It's just super frustrating for me because he has a very misogynistic view of strippers and sex workers and disagrees with me completely.
I am 5"4', 150lbs with a strong hourglass shape. I have a few friends who are strippers so I've been interested for a while, just need to get my nerves together.

do you have your heart set on OC/LA for some reason? to be honest (since the clubs won't be) unless you're amazing on the pole or look like barbie, the good clubs won't hire you. if you have stripper friends can they show you the ropes at their club? you'd be better off doing that even if it's a smaller club in a less desirable area. if you must go there for some reason i suggest starting in anaheim/santa ana

If you're desperate for money just hit up whatever clubs are closest to you. Rather than sitting and waiting for anyone to tell you where to go. Not to sound harsh but that's what I did and what probably most other dancers have done too. You just have to 'shop around' and figure out what clubs you like and learn how to even be a dancer.

None of us can help you with regards to your boyfriend. I dated a guy for 4 years and was a dancer the whole time. He didn't love it but knew I was going to dance anyway and sucked it up. He even picked me up from work sometimes lol.

Also CA as a whole is not known for having great strip clubs. I used to work in southern CA for years and the money there compared to out here in TX is ridiculous. I remember thinking 500 was a good shift lol and now that's my minimum goal. But yes I would try a small club in santa ana/anaheim first if you really want to start in the OC/LA area.

I'm in la and Also live with my man who doesn't want me dancing but I do it anyways and he has not even a clue lol
I'm currently not dancing bc I've been working at a hostess club but if you're new a low pressure place to try is knockouts in Arcadia
The money can be okay there but their customers mostly are there to drink and chill but it's a good place to get used to the job and make some money in a lower stress environment than some of the other clubs out here. Also no one even pays attention to the stage there so you'll be able to try out some moves and figure out how to move on stage without being embarrassed

If I were you I wouldn't have high hopes for this area. The first two clubs I went to(topless, OC area) rejected me and I used to be girl that would get hired on the spot in Austin and San Francisco. The other 2 clubs I went to(full nude,LA) hired me but things weren't great either. The first one wasn't my cup of tea and I decided not to work there. The second one was everything I look for in a club but it was dead slow-packed with people who weren't spending, not just on me but pretty much anyone. Trying to make them buy a dance was like pulling teeth.

Do your friends work in the LA area? Are they making good money?

Try Seventh Veil, not sure whats it like these days but when I worked there a few years ago the newbies banked.
