Here's a great strip club documentary that I found and am watching right now. Have you seen it? Know of any other good ones?

^ lol so much funny outdated looks going on. youtube says it was posted in 2011 but it looks much older
The documentary was filmed in the 90’s, at the ‘peak’ of the strip club industry. Oh! The nostalgia . . .
I find it interesting that one of the club owners thought ahead into the future by allowing computer users to ‘see’ the dancers online and even book a private/virtual lap dance with a dancer. Who knew that this would evolve into a billion-dollar industry known as camming?
On a last note, that one manager who boasted that clubs would go from making $2-3 million to $6-7 million in the next couple of years didn’t know what he was talking about. Surely this documentary was filmed before the economic crash — If anything, strip clubs aren’t what they used to be . . . Actually, nothing today is what it ‘used’ to be.

The collapse can be attributed to massive increase of supply, but at the same time owners were extremely shortsighted as well, had I been them I would have created a brand and advertised the hell out of the sc experience, what they did was just hands off independent contractors.
Someone did just that. Robert Watters founded the first “Rick’s” club sold the clubs who Eric Langan, who, created the first chain of popular strip clubs (and breastauraunts) across the country.
Besides ricks, there’s also the hustler and spearmint rhino chain.
All in all, the real high rollers in the strip club business were those who were able to sack the money from the 80’s and 90’s and GET OUT. With today’s economy and politics, it probably costs more money to run a strip than to own one.
