Default Lap dance risks of catching disease/illness

Can a dancer catch anything from giving a lap dance to a customer?
For instance, is they have warts on their hands, and they touch your clean shaven skin.
or if they lick or kiss your skin, or areas around your genital region when you're going a trick. (I have had this happen before and it was very traumatizing to say the least! Now I am more careful and always on guard but there are still instances where something could happen).
so I am concerned that I am at risk by giving someone a lap dance. If they touch me on healing wounds and worst case scenario they have hep C or hiv....

    thanks

Both Hep C and HIV are transmitted through blood/mucous membranes. Neither is spread through saliva or casual skin to skin contact. So unless a customer is... like... slicing his hand open and then shoving it into orifices, deep kissing you with bloody gums while you also have open wounds in your mouth, or screwing you in the VIP room, no you're not gonna catch anything serious because someone touched or stealth licked you during a lapdance.

Never heard of anyone getting anything from a clean lap dance. I also make customers put alcohol on their hands. I don’t allow them to climax during dance-they can finish it at home. I go the doctor regularly and get tested regularly; I’ve never heard of anything. I wouldn’t be a dancer if there was a chance.

Well, there is a chance of getting HPV ,which doesn’t require exchange of bodily fluids.

If you're just giving a lap dance, no you should be fine. If you're doing more than a lap dance, like having sex or oral sex, then yes. There's all kinds of STI's out there. I've heard of someone getting oral herpes virus on their nipples from a customer sucking on them.

Mrsa is big in a lot of clubs ... make sure you always clean any wounds you get and cover them.

Why would they lick anything in your genital area or put their hands there? What kinds of tricks are you doing?

Clean lap dances, have the guys sit on their hands and keep their pants on.

If they have wounds don''t dance for them, if you have wounds stay home till they are healed.

The thing that always worried me with lap dances was hurting myself on their clothing (belt buckles, jewelry, etc). When there is a wound there is always a risk of something. I always made sure to be careful of any sharp objects they might have on their clothing and never everrrrrr danced for someone who had a sore or injury. Ugh, too many customers with cold sores and bandages that I turned down just because of that same thing with surprise kissing/touching. >.>

Out here I see a lot of girls flip over upside down in the guys lap and practically shake their ass in his face so I'd imagine if he wanted to be a jerk and try and lick it would be easy. I personally don't do this trick as I don't want my ass/vag right on their face because with how handsy guys are over here that is just asking for me to get an assault charge if he misbehaves.

Guys try all sorts of things and not every club enforces their own touch policies so I think this is a valid/good question honestly...sure you can assert yourself and tell them the rules or tell them no and move away or move their hands, but they are always gonna try shit. I notice guys from certain cities are worse than others. Guys from Austin, TX and usually Fort Worth I tend to have bad experiences with lol, but that's just me stereotyping I guess.

Seriously! I heard a girl say that at work. Which is a big no no for me anyways. I thought she was just being over dramatic.

I just practice universal precautions for everyone. I’m the best faker as far as fake kissing other girls and stuff. I think I’ve told the camera guy a few times I’m just pretending, so don’t flip out on me.

Yes that's the trick I did for this man. He had the nastiest teeth brown and yellow and when he'd speak to me he'd spit on my face accidentally. Looking back it was assault and it makes me cringe in shame and sadness that he did this to me. I was worried I got herpes so I got tested yesterday for everything. That was the first time I was sexually assaulted. It makes me want to cry.
Anyway I spoke with my doctor about the risks of giving someone a lap dance and she said that I've probably been exposed to HPV, but she says most people are. It can be carried on fingertips apparently? She suggested I get the vaccine.... I'm thinking about getting it just to be safe, but idk. I have a needle phobia lol
