Default Stripping in a new city

Hello I’m from Indianapolis born & raised and I’m soooo ready to get out of here ! I want to move anywhere that is hot most of the time. I was thinking between Houston, Miami , Vegas or Atlanta. Between those 4 cities which city is best money wise? I want to study dance and hopefully stripping can fund my dance career. I’ve stripped before here in Indianapolis but the money is sad . I’m also very good on the pole if that helps !

How long have you been dancing?

3/4 of those cities are very tough hustles & pretty high contact levels. Atlanta you have to know how to twerk & do pole tricks (as far as I know, there may be a few smaller clubs where a huge stage show isn't necessary).

I don't want to rain on your parade but it's often better to just stay put. If you're not experienced enough, a big city may eat you alive & then you're fucked, having uprooted and moved there. The cost of living will probably be a LOT higher too. The money may be less in Indy but it may be ok compared to your cost of living.

I’ve been dancing on & off for 2 years. & I get what your saying but staying in Indianapolis is not an option. I guess if I have to get a job on the side to supplement income I will. Thank you for the insight !

Have you tried traveling to those places to dance and test the waters.

Don't come to Houston unless you want to compete with extras and girls with pimps and rude grabby customers.

I’ve been to Miami to dance it was okay but I didn’t get to stay long. I’m moving regardless just wanted a little insight on what city might be better.

That’s sad I had my heart set on moving to Houston for years then I got to researching other cities. What about Dallas , San Antonio or Austin ? I know I’m asking a lot sorry

Any time you go somewhere just to strip you run the risk of it being a waste of time and money because no matter what city you're in it's just an unpredictable business. I''ve always done really well in Vegas but ive read experiences of other girls who havent. So I would absolutely reccomend Vegas but still keep in mind nothings guarenteed and you really wont know until you just go for it. Youre ALWAYS taking a chance when you do something like this.

Definitely try out a new city for at least 2-3 weeks I'd say before committing to a move, unless you're aimless and adventurous and just wanna leave again if its not good lol. Either way it SUCKS when you commit to moving somewhere and the dancing is NOT what you expected, I have done it before and never will again. I appreciate my consistent baller status in my home city currently even if it's not where I actually wanna live. It's funding the growth of my life ten times faster than a place that is unpredictable.
Anyhow, Vegas was hit or miss for me... but I could see where girls could do well there so maybe there? Also in Miami and Atlanta if you are hot you have the chance of making great stage money (which doesn't really exist in Vegas), so you don't have the constant pressure for extras/prostitution like I feel there is in Vegas.
It really just depends on your hustle and where you think it will do best. Judging from you being from Indiana tho I'd start with Texas(prob not houston tho) and go to bigger cities later if you really really really want to.

If you do it for the experience then that’s fine, but I’m going to tell you and you probably will ignore me- that’s fine it’s your life- big cities are competitive! All the girls I knew that moved to Miami or Dallas moved BACK to the Midwest.

It’s your life, just be aware that there’s a lot of competition in big cities. If you are at a club that is clean, decent money potential, and low drama-that’s a pretty good club.

If you want to ignore my advice, then just go for a vacation to try it out first.
