    Post ROKU Watch List Ideas

Just testing the waters here to see if anyone else has Roku, and might want to share suggestions of things to watch.
I just bought Roku a couple of months ago. It's great, but can be so overwhelming with 500,000 plus, things to watch.
I already knew how it worked, because the Airbnb I stayed at had it.
I haven't had to add on anything paid yet, i.e. Amazon, Hulu, Etc. I do have Netflix, which, tbh, is getting boring since exploring Roku.
    What do you guys think?

Good idea for a thread. I don't have ROKU yet but am considering it. I'll come back later if and when I do.

Great thread! I've had a ROKU for years, mostly just used for Netflix up till now, just added PBS under streaming channels yesterday, also have Amazon videos from Amazon Prime.
Just watched the Lance Armstrong documentary and Nymphomaniac 1 and 2. All true stories, right? ;-)

I've watched the nymphomaniac movies too. Is Amazon worth getting?
I haven't even touched the surface of all the free movie channels yet.
I just noticed that you can attach an antenna to Roku, that will let you get all over the air broadcast stations. You know, like cbs, NBC, abc, etc. That's pretty cool. I have a converter box and rabbit ears for an old analog TV that's in my bedroom.
No more cable bill, EVER! Gotta love it!

I bounce around from Netflix, to Amazon and to Hulu on my Roku looking for shows. Best shows on each include for Netflix: Narcos, Black Mirror, Godless, The Fall and Ozark. Amazon: Man in the High Castle, Goliath Hulu: Handmaiden's tale is a must watch.

Nymphomaniac was a lot of fun in a sadly demented way.

I haven't explored much of Amazon, would't say to get it unless you order lots on Amazon. Then it may not be as good a savings as some are discovering:

Yayy for getting free TV! One of the things we're all forgetting is that 'Free TV' is still out there and not hard to get if you're within an hour of a major metro area. Broadcasters spend millions on transmitters and power to run them. That's what commercials pay for. Cable companies charge broadcasters to then deliver this 'free TV' to us via cable.

Wow, what a great article! Thanks for posting it. ( Love how popups for Walmart food pick up kept coming up) lol
I didn't realize the price for prime was jacked up like that.
I'm gonna take a hard pass on it. At least, for now.
Oh, and for less than $5 per month, Roku let's you search the web too. Super handy, especially when I don't feel like turning on my tablet, or phone to web surf.
