    Default Wearing a wig

getting ready takes me so long, my hair is platinum blonde and getting fried from hot tools because my hair is not curly but has a weird wave that is getting more funky because of how fried I am making my hair and the extensions don't blend great with it cuz my extensions will go straight and my hair turns wavy.

Should i I just take them out wear my natural hair

    or
    get a wig

I have never worn a wig I am anxious and insecure as it is and kind of clumsy lol
what is your experience with wearing wigs? Can people tell ? Are they turned off? I also am lazy and hate how it takes me 3+ hr to get ready

You are able to use wigs as a protective style. You can braid your hair down underneath and wear the wig on top. Wigs come with combs, elastic bands, tighteners, anything you can think of. I personally get my hair braided down underneath and get the perimeter sewed down onto my braids. I get to experience different colors and patterns because my hair is so unmanageable.

I wear one sometimes but it's harder if you dance crazy and do lots of pole tricks; it gets hot and you have to really secure them well so they don't fly off on a pole spin. I like ones with bangs because it hides the fake hairline. Higher quality looks more realistic, especially if you take it to your stylist to have them shape it for you. Try to avoid wigs that have too much poof at the crown, it's a dead giveaway.

Can you curl your extensions to blend with your natural wave rather than using heat in your real hair? Have you had your extensions blended by a stylist while they are clipped in?

I absolutely love wearing wigs to work. It lets me work with a variety of hair colors, so one day I can be the hot blonde and the next day a sexy redhead. Guys seem to like it, I've never felt it lowered my earnings. I could see how it may interfere with pole tricks though, but I've never been super into those. It's also interesting to see what kind of customers you attract with different hair colors/styles.

I have alopecia so I always wear wigs. I love them and to co-sign what somechick99 said ? It hadn’t affected my earnings one bit. Matter of fact the custies seem to be loving my light rose pink hair. I pluck out baby hairs to make the hairline look more natural. Cut and style them to your liking and have fun. For your first wig I suggest purchasing a cheap synthetic wig so you can practice fixing the hairline , length, etc... YouTube is a goldmine of tutorials for this.
