Default Being girly outside of club

Idk if it's due to being in the club all of the time but I find myself with lack of motivation to look girly throughout my normal day. I was wondering for all of the girly girls out there.. How do you do it? In the morning? After you workout? I just need a little advice. I'm girly but I would like to be able to figure out a way to be girly outside the club... So any tips or advice.. Also I'm not a total slob lol but I don't exactly wear the cutest of stuff either.. It's mostly t shirts and my work pants.. (I'm a massage therapist as a Side job)

    Thank y'all!

Can you define girly? Do you mean makeup/ more high maintenance looks? Or do you mean young/girlish/ingenue looking

More like high matinence look. Like the kind of girl that always looks to impress even if she's going to the supermarket.

I think most dancers I have known DO NOT get done up the days they are not at work. Like, hair in a bun and sweat pants every day type shit.

Oh jeez, I look like crap most of the time when I'm not working, especially in the winter months. In the warmer months I might put forth more effort to put makeup on and wear summer dresses, after my workout. Otherwise? Nah, I totally have the baggie hoodie, yoga pants, no makeup, geeky glasses, and messy hair look going on right now.

I can't imagine putting in the effort I put in for work just to go to the grocery store, but to each his own. Sweatpants and a messy bun is basically my uniform when I'm running around and taking care of mundanities. I'm assuming you're asking how to *look* more put together without actually putting in the work (styling your hair, doing a full face of makeup, etc., just to take the trash out). Sundresses and the like always make you look more presentable but actually require less effort than putting on a pair of jeans, or a nice pair of jeans and a great jacket if it's cold. Roll your hair the night before and you'll be ready to go in the morning. Eyelash extensions are a godsend for looking put together without makeup. Take the time to put on a little Bare Minerals powder if your skin needs the coverage, and some lip gloss. Perfume always.

I am in the same boat )) Even tho, when I go out, I am putting a bb cream and do my eyebrows, at least.
But my best friend is opposite. We are both camgirls...
She is getting herself done every single time, she is always dressing to impress, takes her time with makeup and hair. But that's because of her personality, she loves being in the attention and be admired, she cares to look good all the time.
I am more of an introvert and I actually don't give a fuck on what people think about me so... BB cream + eyebrows done + combed hair is enough ). Actually I am some kind of weirdo, I feel more pretty without makeup, rather than using false lashes and taking my time to put so much makeup (I mean irl, not at work. When I am at work, I put makeup like a pro haha!).

You're not a weirdo. Make up really isn't good for your skin. The better quality makeup is not as bad, IMO and IME but your skin is porous and needs to breathe. I am not currently dancing, but I do work from home the majority of the time. If I need to go out for a meeting or say... drinks with the girls or a meeting. I tend to do minimal make-up- powder, mascara, perfume and maybe some gloss. I try to brush out my pony tail and I also wear a lot of body-con, cotton skirts with cute sandals and a tank top. This is super comfy and essentially yoga pants in skirt form... kind of like thisoutift 1.jpgoutift 2.jpg

I agree with the above suggestion of eyelash extensions as a way to look put together with minimal effort. I had them once and I felt SO GIRLY the moment I woke up! They will even make your sweat pants outfits look nice

I try not to wear too much make up during the day, just cause it's not healthy. I pick one thing that makes me feel put together. For me, I always do my eyebrows. Light foundation sometimes, if my skins being rebellious.

Yea +1 for eyelash extensions and micro blade suggestion.

I also put my hair in tiny braids or top knots at night so when I wake up it's "done" without the damage and time-waste.

For me, putting on a rich plum or Berry shade (or another bold lip color) on my lips is enough to look pulled together. Maybe a gloss. I skip all skin makeup and eye makeup (except when at work) because it can be bad for your skin and lashes, and taking it off is a pain.

I honestly concentrate much more on skin care, exercise, sleep, and a top notch diet so that my skin and body look great all on their own, and more importantly I feel confident and good.

Some hoop earrings and a confident strut. And you're set!

I'm dying for eye lash extensions now!!! Before I was married I would walk around like the most raggedy bum. lmao I typically try to make sure my hair is at least straightened and I have on pretty clothes on now at the least.

I looked up lash extensions. I would get them but.. 100$ for something that's gonna fall out in two weeks makes me nervous. It's not technically about the money but in two weeks?

Do eyelash extensions take your natural eyelashes out over time?

if poorly done, they can cause serious damage to your eyelashes. if done well, they will cause less noticeible damage to your eyelashes. there's no way that asking your lashes to support false lashes heavier than their own weight will not cause distress to the natural lash. the question is how much.

I've heard if lash extensions are done correctly they don't damage eye lashes.... in the area i'm in the like 170-200 start up and then 50 every 2 or 3 weeks..... I think it's worth it.... going to give it a shot.... i wake up with someone now so one less piece of make up to do.... if I was single i think id say fuck it... unless i had a robust social life and constantly was putting on false lashes and worry about them looking wonky.

If any of the ladies with experience with lash extensions could chime in more I'd love to hear about it.

I get a fill every 2 weeks with my extensions. Your natural lashes fall out all the time, you just notice the fall out more with the extensions because they are thicker and longer. I love my extensions for everyday and for the drama. The one problem I have with them is when I want to do heavy eye makeup. Unlike fake lashes you cannot slap them on after the damage from the shadows and blending is done, leading to fall out shadow on the lashes. Professional make up artists have had difficultly with mine. You also are very limited on your liners, the ones with the most payout are not extension friendly. Getting them has lead to me toning down my eye make up in general. They require babying when cleaning the face and you should try to avoid oils anywhere above the lashes. All that being said I can't imagine not having them.

I can do my full face makeup in 3 minutes and hair curled in approx 8 minutes, I just got used to getting ready from doing it so much. I'm such a girly girl so I tend to look done up even if I just throw on a cozy sweater and yoga pants. It's just my personal style.

I have a friend who has been wearing eyelash extension for 3 years, continuously and she didn't have problems with natural eyelash falling.
I am super tempted to try too!!
Actually I am going to reward myself with some microblading and eyelash extension, once I drop off the 10 lbs. I am already dropped 2lbs, thanks to the MyFitnessPal app!! Wohoo!!!

Natural girly girl. Life is a theater and I am my own actress so I will put in the extra effort (10 minutes) to put on light make up, a signature scent, lipstick. Im huge on skin care and vitamins! I drink a lot of water througout the day. I don’t leave the house in sweats or baggy clothes (I actually eliminated them from my wardrobe) ... my comfty errand running clothes are dresses.

Girly enough! Light makeup and cute but comfortable clothes that show off my body. I never want to look prissy or overdone doing simple things lol. Guys don’t like it either.
