Default Free texting apps for work

Just thought I'd share for girls who have regulars but don't want to give out their personal phone number or pay monthly for a work phone.

I used this website called Textfree (textfree.us) back in school when I couldn't pay my phone bill but had wifi access. It's a free app for your phone, altho you can access your account and send texts from a computer or any internet browser too. And I just found out it can be useful for work so I started using it again.

It gives you a free phone number with your area code of choice (as long as you know the zip code) or a random one. And as long as you send at least one text a month (text your own phone if u really need to) you get to keep the number for as long as you want and send free unlimited texts. You can also make calls on it as long as you have minutes, and they're pretty cheap - $2 for 100 etc, or they have offers - I watch 30 second ads, get 2 mins each, and do something else while the ad videos are rolling.

I'm sure there are other free texting and calling apps out there too but I've just used Textfree for years so it's what I'm used to. Textnow is another I've heard of. Love them because it's so much cheaper than buying and paying monthly for a second phone for work and I can keep everything on one phone. I also turn the notifications off on my lock screen because I still live with my parents and they can easily look over my shoulder and see my texts so it's easier to hide.

Whenever a guy I know is a big spender or is a regular asks for my number I just give him my Textfree number instead of my real one. And I'll text him to let him know whenever I am working. I've actually had guys drop whatever they were doing to come out to the club and spend on me. It really helps especially on slow nights.

Anyway hope this helped a few people

i LOOOVE textfree. it's the shit. i love that you can turn notifications on while you're at work so those annoying guys who wanna see your phone ring can call and it will ring! then they think it's your real # hah

and then i turn notifications off when i'm not at work so customers can't annoy me :p
