I like being alone, I just don't like being lonely.

Having sex with someone you arrested was totally legal up into recently. They all are corrupt.

Personality is the glitter that sends your little gleam across the footlights and the orchestra pit into that big black space where the audience is. Mae West
Ugh, disgusting! Yet another corrupt LE.

I have nothing good to say about nyc police.
I tried to file a report with them regarding an issue when I first moved here, and they refused to take it down. I went to three police departments to do this, before giving up. At one, there was an irate and crying woman, saying that her car was stolen a day prior, and they refused to take down her report too. Refusing to take down reports is how they artificially suppress recorded crime rates. That way, the city looks a lot safer on paper than it really is. However, with that experience, I don't feel safe here at all because I know that the cops won't help me when/if I need them.
At the club where I worked, there were constant raids by the police. You wouldn't know, as they happened very discretely. And the staff would try to scare the crap out about the possibility of getting arrested if you dare discuss vip room prices, as a way of controlling you to work in the way that they wanted you to work. This is bs, pimp-like behavior because there is nothing illegal about discussing money for time. We all know that as a fact. To me, it seems like these peeps have a pretty solid relationship with the local pd. Forking over your own dancers to be arrested is a lot more legit-looking and cost-effective in terms of pay-off. That way, the cops/state get the revenue of dancers dealing with bonds, cost of going to court for solicitation charges, and help the cops reach their monthly quotas in the process, rather than paying then getting paid off directly? Like seriously, where else will the club work with the local pd to arrest their own dancers if the dancer does not follow bs rules of talking about private room prices?
I love nyc but this is not a good place to be a victim of crime, especially if you are a sex worker. Isn't the reason that the gilgo beach killer is yet not caught bc the police just don't gaf?
