Default How to know if exotic dancing is not for you? Bullet point answers.

I thought it was just me being negative in my head (bad habit) or if it really is not for me? I don't really care for lapdances because I refuse to have my breast fondled (most money earning clubs allow that smh) I just can't and I fear what can happen in vip room. I'll try some more clubs before I throw in the garter lol but I doubt thee dollhouse hires black girls I really wanna dance here I'll still try it. Basically I wanted to what are some ways to know if dancing is not for someone?

Give the place a shot, go in looking your best..
As far as contact, yes it's pretty much a given/expected, however there a few 'air dance' clubs, or a few where you can limit touching?..
I'm in Chicago, I believe Admiral is one, although I've heard of stuff in the VIP rooms.
Depending on the club(s) some girls just do regular dances not VIP's/priv. rooms.

Me personally, I'm a quiet empath/introvert type, I can be the party person, but it's not really me..I hate being touched also, especially my hair, my boobs are very sensitive
As far as your ?, I always just get a feel/vibe for things, then I know..
As you said, check out/try a few more places, then think about it (don't overthink pls), then just wait a bit, the answer will come to you.
    Everybody has different experiences/feelings.
Maybe you could try go-go dancing, waitressing, or bar tending?
    Just some ideas.
    Good luck

if you find yourself leaving either with barely any money all the time, or leaving the club feeling: dirty, disgusted, ashamed, violated etc.. on a regular basis then it's not for you, i think.

and it's pretty rare to find a club where you can make a lot of money without letting guys touch. from what i've heard and read thee dollhouse is not an exception

Would also add- if you find yourself unable to work without chemical help of some kind, dancing is not for you. There's nothing wrong with having some drinks on shift or whatever but if you legitimately can't handle a shift sober that's a problem

Vip rooms in most clubs are safe, it's just a nicer/more private area to do dances and hang out with the customers. Typically there will be a host checking in on you, waitresses asking if you need more drinks etc. It's not like you're locked in a room with a guy for an hour.

I don't think dancing is for about 95% of the girls who stay in it, even in the long haul. With the exchange of mental emotional and physical energy they put into it only to gain minimal life advances and how much it CAN f*ck someone up in the head if they do not have a strong sense of self or strong boundaries. Honestly dancing is not for most women.

It's not for for girls who: have thin skin, lack of confidence(at least fake it til you break it), don't know how to bullshit/sell.

If you're eager to please, easy to manipulate, easily hurt or offended.

If you have no self esteem or confidence. You need the absolute belief that you're hot and worth the money. Believe in the product you're selling. I'm not usually one for "positive thinking solves all" but holy shit it works in the club in that respect.

If you have no solid boundaries or Professionalism. I see girls coming in last minute, not saving any money, treating the job like a chance to get fucked up and drunk with the customers all night. this is a job, respect it as such.
If you have partying problems or gossipy/drama problems and can't mind your business and work, I've seen that turn into big problems.

Which brings me to taking care of your body, staying in shape (no matter what your body type is) keeping up with basic hygiene and grooming. Please. This is a physically demanding job so treat your body well, consider it part and parcel of working in the adult industry.

And, most obviously, if you aren't comfortable getting naked or giving dances. No, you don't have to be comfortable w getting finger-banged or anything dramatic, but if you feel icky sitting in a lap or touching a customer at all then I just feel like the adult industry will ruin you mentally.

Well I'd know dancing isn't for me if I wasn't making good money. I think that's a telltale sign right there.

If you're not okay with strangers touching your breasts, or even attempting to suck on your tits, then dancing is not for you. Boob-grabbing or medium-to-high mileage is pretty much the norm here and many places in the U.S. which I've heard from many girls. If you want low mileage, go to Chicago. I don't know how even girls can make money selling low-contact dance. Heard from few customers, especially military personnel, that they dislike the clubs in Chicago due to the low mileage.

I'm sure there's ways around not wanting to be molested I thought a dancer was a fantasy and what the hell she says goes especially if she's bad asf. I understand and appreciate that you are stating your honest opinion but I would have never expected a post such as this one especially since I'm sure plenty of top earners don't allow it.

Yeah boob touching is expected in most clubs BUT I've deffo worked with girls in full contact clubs who didn't allow it that still made money. They knew their client base and had hella personality that made it work.

i've danced in a lot of different cities. idk where the girls who say they do amazing with 0 contact are working but it sure isn't anywhere i've ever been. not saying you have to get "molested" but its 2018 and air dances are not where the money is at now unless it's a stage show/make it rain club and there's still some contact there even if it's just a little bit. there are places with very minimal contact but still.. unless you're famous from porn, IG/modeling or whatever it's not that simple. girls with a following or solid regulars have to work really hard to get there and then they can get paid just for showing up and being 'bad af'. but if you're new or traveling through it's hard. you have to be extremely hot and a good salesperson.

there are some places with bikini, gogo and strict no-touching policies but that's not were you're gonna make bank

I don't mind some contact babe I just refuse to do high contact . My comfort level is medium contact (butt, legs belly etc. Not kitty or titty especially bare titty *fuckin cringe*) I don't compare myself to other women therefore I don't have to compete I have tons to bring to the table and that doesn't include my potential that I have yet to reach considering the fact that I am still a baby skrippa. Im most likely gonna get a part time vanilla job until I prefect myself.

hopefully you can make things work while staying in your comfort zone, just trying to be real cuz there are always girls bragging about how they made so much money and "all they did was talk in vip" or they did OTC but "he just wanted to hang out" when it's not true and it sets unrealistic expectations. don't get me wrong though that stuff does happen so it's not impossible

You have to shop around for a club and crowd that works for you, maybe even go into independent private dancing. Its been some years since I danced in a club and I really wouldnt even used the term "dancing" because I realized early on as much as I enjoy dancing and seducing my target clientele was for the guys who wanted fun flirting. No, I wasn't pulling in top dollar but more then enough to take care of my basics, school money and a little for savings.

You boundaries are your boundaries and you shouldn't budge on that, just be realistic that majority of the clubs patrons do want to get the most bang for their buck, so your target clientele is smaller so therefor your salary will be too. Now, you will come across a whale every now and then who may simply pay very well
for conversation but cant depend on that. Having a part time job until you get your footing is def smart.

if your not getting a lot of repeat customers and your just not in the headspace to take the titty groping that day, tell them you're on you're period and your boobs are sensitive/sore so they have to be "gentle gentlemen". Just make sure you don't tell it to the same dude 2 weeks in a row lol.
