    Default Great weekend. Bad ending.

I spent the weekend hanging out with some of KCs loveliest, and it all culminated tonight when I spent last call with two of my favorite dancers (who happen to be best friends, so their chemistry was insane). Somewhere during the 9 song double, somebody stole my $900 Bulova watch. It was a gift from my parents before my Iraq deployment. I'm kinda pissed, and probably will be more pissed later, but honestly, it's kinda hard to be mad at anything after half an hour with those two.

Call the club and speak with the manager. It's possible your watch got loose and fell off. Then found.

I talked to them while I was still there. We pulled all the cushions and moved the tables. It wasn't there. It's my own fault. I shouldn't have taken it off. I noticed it caught on a dancer earlier and I didn't want to scratch anyone accidentally, so I started just taking it off. Now I know better.

Thanks, I'm definitely bummed about it. I shouldn't have even worn it. I wear it for the aesthetic, not for function. I don't like dressing up often, so the watch is kind of a signal that hey, I may be wearing a captain America t-shirt, but I'm not cheap lol. At this point though, most of the dancers know me. I guess I'll be leaving the next watch behind.

You were distracted and I'm guessing, a little drunk. Anyone could have swiped it, customer or dancer. It's just so wrong.

Ugh, sorry to hear that this happened. That's an expensive watch, plus it sounds like it had sentimental value to you as well.

I was definitely distracted (no idea what songs were playing at any point), but I wasn't drunk. The club doesn't serve alcohol (though, dancers are free to bring in their own), nor do I drink anyways. The only other dancer that was near us in the back is a good friend of both of the dancers I was with. She didn't see anything, but did mention that her customer was kinda sketchy.

Very sentimental. That's the part that stings the most. Yah, it's expensive, but I can always buy a new one. I can't go back in time though and make the new one mean the same.
