So many choices

Pay off all my debt and invest 75% of it.
I'd probably only use a million or two for fun. I'd continue to live off my current salary, no new cars or big purchases. I'd simply stop worrying about whether or not I can afford the trips I want, and I'd just take them.

Start investing that amount then live out a motorhome so no one can track me down easily.
Then start scholarship funds with the money.
Also start food pantries (like community & urban garden programs.)

Just local stuff. I'm in Kansas right now, and KC, Omaha, and Wichita are 2, 3, and 3 hours away respectively. OKC and Springfield MO are 5 hours, Dallas is 7.5, etc. I love a short roadtrip and I'd like to be able to take a trip every weekend. I'd definitely be in KC more often than twice a month. Most of the trips would be with my son, as he loves going to different zoos, though admittedly, a portion of them would be for me personally. Particularly the KC trips. Thats where my preferred club is, and I would love to be able to visit more often and continue to spend my nightly average. I could go more often now, but I'd have to drop my average down, and that just doesn't sound worth it to me.

The most elaborate security system known to man.

Buy a house somewhere out of the city, but close enough to commuter rail so that I could come into to town when I want to without always having to drive. I would then find a good money manager to help invest the rest so that I could quit my job and still have enough to live on going forward. Hopefully this would give me time to work on things that actually interest me instead of sitting in front of a computer plugging numbers into a spreadsheet all day.

Interesting!
Off grid living? Or just home that is mobile for privacy?
Sounds wise! As long as the money manager is reputable and not those ones who steal from their clients or have no clue wtf they are doing.
I wonder what something like that would look like or cost?

For privacy. I've known wealthy people who have had burglaries happen because they are easy to find & the wrong kinds of people find out they have money.
There are high end motorhomes on the market, RV living isn't all about living in a "Winnebango" that's falling apart.
I think people vastly underestimate how easy it is to burn through lottery winnings or lose chunks of money due to misfortune or error. & Statistically lottery prizes won't be awarded to the majority of people.

And several of these

I wonder if the old Crazy Water Hotel is still there.
