So question, I’ve been doing some live videos of myself getting ready at the club or chilling in the back on dead nights and also sometimes as a way to promote myself. Tonight my clubs photographer has told me to stop doing them, as it invades other girls privacy and that that’s why he has to get a release from girls to be showcased on our clubs page. Which is understandable, yet plenty of girls have taken videos of them self, etc before and it hasn’t been an issue. Just my live videos that rarely show any other girl bc I cover up my cam if they are behind me. The only reason I even started doing live videos is bc I’ve seen 100 other dancers doing it as well. So my question is, can you legit get fired/ in trouble for recording yourself? Is there a law or rule that I’m unaware of? Because if there is and I’m in the wrong then I won’t do them. Im at a club in Dallas, TX.
