    Default Ricks Cabaret NYC

hey all! I’ve been looking thru the ricks tags and I noticed people saying that ricks was anti tats in like ~2013. Anyone know if they’re a little more open now? I have 2 rib pieces and 2 hip pieces and I’m wondering if I should just cover them for the audition or if ricks is finally receptive to tattoos. Any current ricks girls who know? Thanks!!

They will want you to cover up the rib pieces. For hip, it depends on how big and what it is

I worked at Rick's in NYC in 2016. I have one tattoo. As long as it's nothing GLARINGLY there, you should be fine. I loved Rick's!!!

I auditioned at Ricks in December 2015 when I was 25, pretty hot and had my hair and makeup done before audition. An older gentleman wanted to take me off stage after my first song in the upstairs VIP section, but management wouldn't hire me. Two younger girls were hired that night and filling out paperwork. What does it take to get hired there? I was hired at Sapphires, but only Friday-Tuesday. Clubs in NYC generally treated me like I was ugly or something and wouldn't hire me, I'm slim, white, no tats, pretty face. What's the deal with getting hired on night shift at Ricks? Since it has a day shift I wanted to work there and do doubles.

I never had any trouble getting hired, and I wasn't the most in shape (definitely borderline tubby). I'm half Asian/white but super pale. I never had any restrictions, either. Maybe it was the manager? I would try again. There was a guy named Tony (? something with a T...maybe it wasn't Tony) who was the manager when I auditioned at Rick's. He was very nice.
