Default Asking for tips instead of drinks?

Does anyone do this? I am still really new but I知 not a big drinker. I do accept drinks from guys sometimes but about 50% of the time we just end up talking while having our drinks. Ehich is fine耀ome men come to clubs just to enjoy the company of women. But I知 still doing the emotional labor and would love to be monetarily compensated! I was wondering if anyone else has tried this and been successful. I do also get that its good for the bar to sell drinks so I知 not really trying to step on any toes there.

Unless it is against the rules to not accept drinks, I would just turn them down. You can also order something non-alcoholic or a water bottle etc. Sometimes I just straight up say "I'm trying to make money not get drunk" and they will go get a dance or tip me on stage instead. I don't know that my approach would work for others.

The bar won't know if you turn down a drink. You're not there to worry about the bar's business, we pay our fair dues to the club by paying ridiculous house fees.

I would turn it down if you don't want one, or else only stay for 2 songs while drinking it & then ask for a dance. Take it with you when you go so he doesn't get all miffed at a girl abandoning a nearly-full drink, dump it in the sink & return the glass later.

It's hard to turn the drinks into an a tip because buying a girl a drink is a 'social contract' and handing a girl $5 is not the same thing at all.

I actually had a customer offer me this recently. He said he would tip me more when he got dances, first I was thinking he was just a cheapskate but he turned out to be an great regular.

I suck at using the search function on here, thank you (that is to say I attempted searching and didn’t find this one)

Tell him you'll go and get the drinks, take the money, get yourself a "vodka" soda w no vodka and keep the amt of a vodka soda, then give him the change.

If you DON'T want to steal money from customers, just tell him you don't drink and would rather he tip you. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Close fast.
